Harlow Madden: Nicole Richie’s Baby Girl
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are the proud parents of a daughter, Harlow Winter Kate Madden.
Harlow was born Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz.
“The beautiful healthy baby girl is home with her ecstatic parents,” the couple’s reps at Handprint Entertainment tell People.
Congrats to the happy family! Can’t wait to see the family portrait. :)

Isn’t it a little early to be going home from the hospital with a newborn? All of my friends who had normal pregnancies were kept at least 2 days. Just wondering.

nicky - I think it’s luck. :) She just likes to look at women’s stomachs and see how they carry…that helps her determine the sex of the baby. I don’t know if it holds true for everyone (the carrying thing), but so far she’s been accurate and she’s been doing it for over a decade.
Chris apparently had her baby at 4pm today. I hope everything’s alright with her baby because they haven’t released any info about him yet.
I like the name Harlow too - it’s unique without being weird. Although I think if she went with a star’s last name for a baby’s first name, she should’ve gone with Loren (i.e. Sophia Loren). It would’ve been pretty with the last name Madden. But it’s her baby and her choice. I wonder what name Christina chose….
