Us Weekly overheard soon-to-be-proud-papa Joel Madden saying, “She’s going to start pushing soon” in the delivery area of L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai.

PUSH, NICOLE, PUSH-HHHHHH!

HEE, HEE, HOO! HEE, HEE, HOO! HEE, HEE, HOO!

P.S. Reports are coming in that Christina Aguilera may also be in the same maternity ward as well. What are the chances?!

well nicole is giving birth , and Christina is have a c/sectopm delivery. Hers was planned, does not sound like Nicole’s was, sounds liek she went on her own. Good for her!!!!!

Yes, there is a difference, but remember that sometimes active herpes and other STD’s mean a c/section is needed.

Congrats! And the chances aren’t that astronomical- considering that they both live in the Hollywood area, and obviously both would choose the best hospital around…

Considering the fact that giving birth is still the number one cause of death among women IN THE WORLD, it’s very easy to see why some women would opt to have a C-section rather than a natural birth. Until you have actually experienced the pains and complications that come along (and can come along) with childbirth (which I’m sure many of you whiners have NOT) you cannot judge the reasoning behind one.

Do not be incredibly naive and assume that everyone who gets a C-sections gets one for superficial reasons; and do not assume that every women who get’s pregnant has a body that can actually handle the stress of giving birth. Why do you think so many women died while giving birth in the past? It’s because their bodies could not handle that much stress and that much pain. And because childbirth can lead to some serious complications that can threaten the life of the mother, and of the child.

C-section’s can save lives. And it does not matter if you agree with why women get them in the first place. It is THEIR body, therefore what they decide to do is THEIR choice. And nobody has the right to tell a women she is wrong for getting one.
