It sounds to me like Jared IS confirming it. He’s got an inside track to Vanessa’s publicist. So unless I hear otherwise I’m considering it confirmed. I think it’s a good move. Yeah I know people will say its “Another high school role” well, Vanessa is nineteen. Both she and Zac have a ways to go yet before they’re considered for roles as Supreme Court Judges or U.S. Senators.

But it sounds like a good script and the character sounds quite a bit different then Gabriella. Yeah they’re both “smart” but this character does not sound “sugary sweet” like Gabriella. I’m happy.

So happy to hear Vanessa is going to be in another role. Yes, the characters are similar, both brainy high schoolers, but this role sounds like it will be more dramatic. She can show another side other than the sugary sweet , Gabriella. I’m also glad to hear it is being shot in Austin. Lived there for 3 years. Austin is very laid back and somewhat of a college town with 50,000 students at UT , Austin. Lots of music played at clubs on 6th street. Willie Nelson started out there. Hoping she will have somewhat of a break from the paparazzi. No paps around when I lived there. I’m sure some will be there for shots of the movie , but not following her around 24/7 like in LA. It would be great if Zac could come visit her when is finished filming. They could hang out and get lost in the sea of college kids and actually experience what normal young people their ages do without constant pictures of their every moves. I know , I’m probably dreaming but , just a thought… Again , so glad for Vanessa. You go girl! Lots to look forward too this year.

I would say the picture is from this past weekend when they went to Palm Springs. Vanessa looks tired and maybe this was taken once they got there. Zac and Vanessa left on Friday evening so they probably went to Palm Springs and got a room—perhaps this lady is the manager or was also staying there and knew who they were. This is amazing news; I’m so exited about this movie. I really hope that it will be a theatrical released movie but no matter what I’m going to watch it. There are some things different pictures of Zac and Nikki together during the promotion tour that seems a bit weird, like the things in this video, however, something that I’ve also noticed is that when Zac and Nikki did most of their TV interviews, most of the times Zac moves away from her, intentionally or not I dunno but it’s true, and then when you watch videos of ‘zanessa’ interviews, when they sit next to each other, their arms always like touch and they sit really close, or stand really close. Besides, how many pictures of Zac and Nikki have we seen sense the promotion tour…answer (to maybe poor souls dismay) is non, besides, Zac got paid to go on that tour so my guess is that they had to act close to make the movie more real, but what do I know, I just don’t read so much into things like these when it’s pictures of some people promoting something, I mean, like with the Palm Springs, Vanessa didn’t have to be there but she was, and that’s just one of many proofs showing the difference between ‘Zanessa’ and Zac and Nikki.
