OlderVanessa Hudgens Joins the Mafia
Vanessa Hudgens arrives at the Rock Mafia Studio in Santa Monica, Calif. on Thursday. Looks like she got her hair straightened in the middle of the day!
The 19-year-old High School Musical star is set to act in feature film Will, which shoots February in Austin, Texas is about a battle of the bands at a high school.
Here’s a description of the role Vanessa will be playing: [SA5M] The 5 is silent. Sam is 15 years old, dressed down in black jeans and t-shirt, with hair strategically hiding her face from the world, she is a loner, one of the school’s outsiders, constantly seen with a book in hand. Smart, with a sense of humor and a lot of disdain for her shallow peers, Sam is a former stutterer and now speaks slowly and deliberately. She teams up with Will on a class project, and the two quickly discover they have a lot in common. Their friendship eventually takes the shape of a burgeoning romance. Brought on board as the lead singer for the band Will is managing, Sam emerges from her cocoon, demonstrating grit and commitment to perfection.

The pics - here we go again……I would accept that what Vanessa did was misguided,she has said herself that it was a mistake BUT what I admire her for is how she dealt with it.She admitted it was her and she said SORRY.Haven’t you ever done something silly or that you regret,I doubt very much that you can say no.
I’m a parent of teenagers and I have no problem in saying to my kids that Vanessa is a great role model simply because of how she dealt with what happened.More importantly,what would you rather see….drunkeness,drugs,sleeping around ???No thank you…I’ll keep the Vanessa we’ve got .

I know everyone is under the impression that Vanessa is going to play the outcast in the movie, HOWEVER, on the previous page there is a link which confirms that she is going to make this movie and it say that she plays one of the POPULAR kids who befriends an OUTCAST. People should check some of these things out.

I would say the picture is from this past weekend when they went to Palm Springs. Vanessa looks tired and maybe this was taken once they got there. Zac and Vanessa left on Friday evening so they probably went to Palm Springs and got a room—perhaps this lady is the manager or was also staying there and knew who they were. I’m sure there is someone on this board who knows the language so it would be nice if someone took a look and translated what it said under the picture.

Where indicated we need actors who can REALLY SING AND/OR PLAY INSTRUMENTS. Think Springsteen. There will be no faking it on screen. Where indicated in the breakdown - the musician or singer aspect of those actors cast will be of utmost importance.
STORY LINE: 15 year old WILL BURTON, ostracized by his classmates, but with an extensive knowledge and understanding of music, gets a shot at a fresh start when his mom moves cross country from Cincinnati to New Jersey…

I beg to differ… this is not about Vanessa or Ashley… we’re gonna talk about you. You are jealous! Jealous that Vanessa IS getting more coverage than Ashley is right now. Yes, there are reasons why she’s getting more coverage i.e. scandal and dating Zac Efron, but she is. That’s why you’re so angry at Vanessa. It’s so obvious, it comes out on your posts. So to say you’re not jealous mean you’re in denial. You’re not jealous of Vanessa, but you’re jealous because she’s getting more coverage than your beloved Ashley Tisday.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m an Ashley fan too. Just stating the facts. Ashley has her own identity and she’s a great actress. These two do not need to be compared.

Ashley tisdale fan forever, 9 out of 10 people don’t bash Ashley on Vanessa threads because they know the teo are friends. As a matter of fact most of us like them both.
The 1 out of 10 that do bash Ashley don’t usually do so until one of her “true” fans, such as yourself, comes on to a vanessa thread and say something bad about Vanessa.
Two wrongs don’t make a right on either side, so I hope those fans from both camps can learn to praise their own without trashing the others.
As to other items you mentioned, if you want to live in the past, that is your perogative. We will save you a seat in the here and now should you decide to catch up to the present.
Good role for her. “grit and commitment to perfection” sounds like Vanessa, herself. That grit and commitment will take her far in Hollywierd.
