Ms. Tyra Banks works the red carpet at “2008 BET Honors” held at the Warner Theater on Saturday in Washington, DC. She was honored with the Media Award.
“BET Honors” is an evening dedicated to recognizing the achievements and contributions of distinguished African American leaders in their fields. The event was hosted by Cedric “The Entertainer,” and also recognized Alicia Keys (Entertainment), Dr. Cornel West (Inspirational/Education), Richard Parsons (Corporate), the Honorable Maxine Waters (Government) and CEO Janice Bryant Howroyd (Entrepreneur).

You know I just wonder when we are gonna have the WET awards. You know, awards were we white people just get awarded for being WHITE. Oh, of course that won’t ever happen because that would be racist! But boy we definantly have the black people awards, the black televsion show, the Black colleges, The black Churches, and boy don’t leave out the good ol ACLU. I tell you what we have politicaly corrected ourselves right into a corner, and good luck getting out of it. The only racist people around anymore are the Black people and the Mexicans and for some reason THAT is POLITICALY CORRECT!
