Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted shopping at one of their favorite stores, Urban Outfitters, on Sunday afternoon in Studio City, Calif.
Zanessa looked cute as ever–Vanessa wore the same outfit she wore to the music studio earlier in the day and Zac wore a blue plaid buttondown over a white t-shirt.
The couple took the time to greet an elderly fan before driving off in her Audi convertible.

My guess would be because everyone made such a big deal about them holding hands. The paps realized that if they got a picture of them making any kind of physical contact with each other then their pictures would be more in demand. So, the paps were probably yelling out at them(as the are known to do) telling them to hold hands, I’m pretty sure Zac nor Vanessa is a mind to be told how to “perform” for the paps just to make everyone happy—it would certainly cheapen their relationship. I don’t think they probably feel like they are require to hold hands everytime they are out somewhere either. So, at any rate, I would say they have heard about what people are “demanding” one way or another and have decided not to play along. (I think they are a little headstrong, LOL). But I wouldn’t be surprised to see them hold hands at some point if the situation was right. They were loving enough at Palms Springs. I wouldn’t feel real lovey dovey if someone was following me around when I was shopping for clothing—they don’t look like they bought anything and may have been a little perturbed.

they held hands in palm sprins, just didn’t do it in front of the cameras … i have a feeling they are just keeping stuff from the cameras
