High School Musical 3: Senior Year
Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman are all now officially (really, really) confirmed to appear in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, according to TVGuide.
Here’s the movie’s premise according to a Disney press release: High School seniors Troy (Efron) and Gabriella (Hudgens) face the prospect of being separated from one another as they head off in different directions to college. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.
Production for High School Musical 3: Senior Year begins spring 2008 and tentatively will be released on silver screens nationwide on October 24, 2008.

Happy to see the articles now confirming all six. Looking forward to this final installment and as much as I enjoy HSM1 and 2, I’m glad this will be it for them…I hate it when they overdo it with sequels and I’m very excited about the other roles/opportunities coming their way. :-)

I think it’s great that they’re all doing #3. It will put closure to “high school” for them all, and perfect for them to keep moving in their solo careers! I’ll bet it will be pretty emotional on set when they finish, knowing it’s the last one!
I’ll admit the plot sounds a little cheesy. But I’m sure it will al come together and be fabulous :)

troy and gabriella HAVE to end up together! its the whole premise of the movies! them overcoming obstacles! anyway, can’t wait to see it!
Kourtney - i gotta agree - the whole spring musical thing sounds a little contrived (especially b/c they make it about their ‘hopes and dreams’. but anyway, i am sure it will be a fun movie to watch!
