Katie Holmes is the lady in red as she leaves the Carlyle Hotel and arrives at the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC on Monday for a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman.
The 29-year-old actress is promoting her new film Mad Money, out in theaters this Friday, Jan. 18th.
Maroon 5 is the musical guest for the evening. Adam Levine and his bandmates will be performing “Won’t Go Home Without You” from their sophomore album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long.

Wow! I can’t wait to see how Dave takes her down. Last time she was on his show, he made her look like the biggest idiot. Not that she needed alot of help. Something tells me this ones gonna be alot better (I know, it’s hard to believe she could actually be dumber than she was 2 years ago when she told the Dolphin Story). I wish I could hear what Dave has to say about her backstage after she leaves. Don’t you know he’s going to laugh his bum off about the latest version of Katie “Freak Show” Holmes. I agree she is beautiful but she still comes off looking older than her age more often than not
