King of tween Zac Efron is featured on the January/February 2008 cover of Details Magazine. Interview highlights:
On the beach candid shots of him and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens: “At that point it was inconceivable. I had no idea that anyone could ever care. That happens to, like, big stars. I woke up and my dad told me that I was in a newspaper on the beach—he made fun of me, he said I was ‘frollicking.’”
On the paparazzo who took the pictures of him shirtless and Vanessa in a bikini: “The photographer left me a note with a disc of all the pictures, and on the note it said, ‘Thanks for the Range Rover!’”
On his pissed off neighbors at his apartment complex: “It annoys my neighbors that the paparazzi take all the parking spots.”
On Seventeen being created as a star vehicle for him: “It’s weird but I don’t feel like I deserve any of the attention. There’s really nothing but one audition for a Disney Channel movie that separates me from 2,000 other brown-haired, blue-eyed guys in L.A., you know?”

According to the studio, HSM 3: Senior Year finds high school seniors Troy [Efron] and Gabriella [Hudgens] facing the prospect of being separated from one another as they head off in different directions to college. Joined by the rest of the Wildcat crew, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.
^^ that description makes me sad about zanessa’s characters. LOL even though it’s only a movie, troy and gabriella are gonna GO THEIR OWN WAY…. cue the music guys..

omg! i was so picturing that in my head! like, thats exactly what i thought hsm would be about, troy and gabriella splitting up for college! minus the spring musical thing, but still, thats crazy! itd be so adorable though if, like, at the very end, one of them decided to switch schools so they could be together. or they did something crazy like get engaged (yeah right, but a girl can dream). i cant wait now!
LOL i don’t think disney would make their character’s get engaged, they’re all definitely going to college though. you know they’d want to send a positive message to the kids watching it. it will be sad when they wrap filming but i can’t wait when they do
ok .. troy and gabriella HAVE to end up together! its the entire theme of the movies!! .. i’ll be SO disappointed if they don’t!

they dont even have to show it. they can just heavily (keyword being heavily) hint at it and that alone would make me extremely happy. or they could just tell us what happens later on….

haha, he looks hot! That disney image did make him seem gay . . . But looking at this, he is soo not1 An he’s not ’squeeky clean’ as most would think, considering he said something like, “People are just waiting for me to fu*k up” in the interview.
