Tom Cruise Scientology Video Outbreak

Here’s a peek into Tom Cruise and his beliefs in Scientology via Gawker. You must watch the video below–it’s definitely making the rounds in the blogosphere.

Basically, Tom goes off on how dedicated he is to being a Scientologist and how he will “not hesitate to put [his] ethics in someone else!” Here are some of the highlights via Us Weekly:

“I think it’s a privilege to call yourself a Scientologist, and it’s something that you have to earn because a Scientologist does… has the ability to create new and better realities and improve conditions. Being a Scientologist, you look at someone and know absolutely that you can help them.

“Being a Scientologist, when you drive past an accident… you know you have to do something about it because you know you’re the only one that can really help.

“But that’s what drives me… I know that we have an opportunity to really help… effectively change people’s lives and I am dedicated to that. I am absolutely, uncompromisingly dedicated to that.

“We have a responsibility.

“We are the authorities on getting people off drugs, we are the authorities on the mind, we are the authorities on improving conditions… we can rehabilitate criminals.

“…We can bring peace and unite cultures…

“Traveling the world and meeting the people that I’ve met, talking with these leaders in various fields, they want help and they are depending on people who know and who can be effective and do it and that’s us. That is our responsibility to do that.

“It is the time now. Now is the time… Being a Scientologist, people are turning to you, so you better know it, you better know it and if you don’t, go and learn it, but don’t pretend you know it. It’s like we’re here to help.

“If you’re a Scientologist, you see life, you see things the way they are, in all its glory, all of its complexity and the more you know as a Scientologist, you don’t become overwhelmed by it.

“Look, I wish the world was a different place. I’d like to go on vacation and go and romp and play and just do that, you know what I mean. That’s what I want it to be. There’s times I’d like to do that, but I can’t because I know I have to do something about it.

“I have to do it because I can’t live with myself if I don’t, and that really is it.

“So it’s our responsibility to educate, create the new reality. We have that responsibility to say, ‘Hey, this is the way it should be done because we do it this way and people are actually getting better.’

“And let’s get it done. Let’s really get it done and have enough love and compassion and toughness that you’re really going to do it and do it right.

“I have to tell you something – it is rough and tumble, and it’s wild and wooly, and it’s a blast, it’s a blast, it really is fun because, dammit, there is nothing better than the going out there and fighting the fight and suddenly you see things are better.

“I want to know that I’ve done everything I could everyday, and I think about those people out there who are depending on us. I think about that and it does make me feel that we’ve got more work. I need more help, get those spectators either in the playing field or out of the arena. Really, that’s how I feel about it.

“I do what I can, and I do it the way I do everything. [laughs] There’s nothing part-of-the way for me.”

Dear Tom,

I want my 9 minutes back!!

Signed,
The People of Earth

My Goddd! There are alot of Seething, Angry, Viperous People out there… and I’m not talking about Tom. How discouraging to see the “common mindset” of people these days. So sad.

GeorgirGirl @ 01/16/2008 at 8:19 pm

WTF is he talking about??!? “Word Salad” is a great description of the mess that comes out of his mouth! This is one Earthling who is not “depending” on him. Wow, he’s out there!

HUH? He’s got “it” alright

Sounds just like Christianity to me folks……………………… and all the rest of these religions who think they have the answer. I am not saying it is bad, all I am saying is I hope the same people calling Cruise nuts do not go home and believe in talking snakes.

There had to have been a huge void in Tom’s life for him to fall so absolutely into this crap. Something about this is feeding his ego. At the foundation of Tom is a below average intellect. He thinks he’s saying something SO important when he’s actually saying nothing. It’s hard to watch. He is totally brainwashed, possibly to a point of no return. He’s a weak minded man that thinks that WE’re the stupid ones that require HIS help. I’ve seen another video clip of Tom and some scientology leader saluting each other……….!!!??? I feel sorry for Katie and the baby. If he could only see what we see.

who's he helping? @ 01/17/2008 at 11:46 am

I think it’s great if Tom Cruise feels it’s important to help people and change the world but what exactly is he doing to accomplish this? You never hear about either him or KH doing anything to help people. They are always in the public eye. You would think we would hear something about it if they were really doing any good for the world. Look at Brangelina, now there’s a couple dedicated to helping others! I think Tom should put his money where his mouth is.

He’s a freakin’ nut!

I don’t fault anyone for their beliefs, but don’t you think they could get a better spokesperson to speak about their beliefs??? I read it, I watched it…..and have no clue what the hell he is trying to say.

What is going on with Tom Cruise and his Scientology video? Cocky, arrogant or all-knowing? Taken down from YouTube, see it here.

There are prisons full of criminals just waiting to be rehabilitated, Tom. Why don’t you and your church buddies get right at it…sure would be a great service to the world…to have all criminals rehabilitated!!!
and then get busy on mental illnesses and everything else you have the power to cure!!! Go, Tom, Go… Get busy you have a lot of work to do!!

Hilarious. There’s another great Tom Cruise parody on Funny or Die here:

Yep BBatSShitCrazy Cult Nutty whackos..

declared SP at 14 @ 01/27/2008 at 1:36 pm

This is just the tip of the iceberg. I was declared an SP at the age of 14. Actually, I was declared an enemy of the “church”. My dad had to, basically, disown me.

Interestingly, several years later, we got back into contact and he said something about the “church” either being wrong or amending their position or some other b.s.

I attended a school run by Scientology when I was 14, and had walked out after experiencing some of their “techniques”. I would gladly give everything I have to expose and destroy them. Unfortunately, I have nothing they want. I’m not rich, don’t have any material possessions to speak of, have no influence and have no “voice” that folks would listen to. So I’m off their radar.

I would dare them — triple dog dare them — to try their brand of “confronting” on me. Here I am! Dazzle me! The folks that have fought the good fight (like the folks at Gawkers who refuse to take down this video) are champions. There are so many who have been destroyed or killed (suicides? ha!) in trying to expose them. But nothing this evil can endure indefinitely without being brought to the surface.

Kudos to those who have a stake in this. Wish I could help. My dad’s still with them… too bad they didn’t realize that, at 14, I was nowhere NEAR as suppressive to them as I would be now.

However, Tom doesn’t want me in the arena. He says SPs can’t confront him to his face. Let him make a trip down to Alabama and pay me a visit. Oh wait … he’s too busy creating “new realities”.

I don’t know why some in the media insist on making gorgeousTom look crazy because of his beliefs. This is a free country and his beliefs are positive based (not terrorist based) so why are people jumping down on the guy. Someone in the media decided to try and label him the “wierd actor” as part of the hollywood game but I say, let him be, I’m getting bored already. By the way, I have read dianetics and it’s an interesting point of view (or philosophy) not a fiction book. The muslim religion was created by a man named Mohammed, Kwanza holiday was created by someone here in the U.S. not in africa. Bhuddism was created by Bhudda and the bible was written by a bunch of male authors who wrote by testimony so scientology is not that far off from other “created religions”. Who can say they know the real truth before putting someone else down because they don’t like the positive talking he’s doing. I mean really. GIVE HIM A BREAK He’s not hurting anyone, focus on his work or his good deeds.
He’s not a celeb that’s been certified or inside of a mental institution like uhmm someone else is right now!!
