Tom Cruise Scientology Video Outbreak
Here’s a peek into Tom Cruise and his beliefs in Scientology via Gawker. You must watch the video below–it’s definitely making the rounds in the blogosphere.
Basically, Tom goes off on how dedicated he is to being a Scientologist and how he will “not hesitate to put [his] ethics in someone else!” Here are some of the highlights via Us Weekly:
“I think it’s a privilege to call yourself a Scientologist, and it’s something that you have to earn because a Scientologist does… has the ability to create new and better realities and improve conditions. Being a Scientologist, you look at someone and know absolutely that you can help them.
“Being a Scientologist, when you drive past an accident… you know you have to do something about it because you know you’re the only one that can really help.
“But that’s what drives me… I know that we have an opportunity to really help… effectively change people’s lives and I am dedicated to that. I am absolutely, uncompromisingly dedicated to that.
“We have a responsibility.
“We are the authorities on getting people off drugs, we are the authorities on the mind, we are the authorities on improving conditions… we can rehabilitate criminals.
“…We can bring peace and unite cultures…
“Traveling the world and meeting the people that I’ve met, talking with these leaders in various fields, they want help and they are depending on people who know and who can be effective and do it and that’s us. That is our responsibility to do that.
“It is the time now. Now is the time… Being a Scientologist, people are turning to you, so you better know it, you better know it and if you don’t, go and learn it, but don’t pretend you know it. It’s like we’re here to help.
“If you’re a Scientologist, you see life, you see things the way they are, in all its glory, all of its complexity and the more you know as a Scientologist, you don’t become overwhelmed by it.
“Look, I wish the world was a different place. I’d like to go on vacation and go and romp and play and just do that, you know what I mean. That’s what I want it to be. There’s times I’d like to do that, but I can’t because I know I have to do something about it.
“I have to do it because I can’t live with myself if I don’t, and that really is it.
“So it’s our responsibility to educate, create the new reality. We have that responsibility to say, ‘Hey, this is the way it should be done because we do it this way and people are actually getting better.’
“And let’s get it done. Let’s really get it done and have enough love and compassion and toughness that you’re really going to do it and do it right.
“I have to tell you something – it is rough and tumble, and it’s wild and wooly, and it’s a blast, it’s a blast, it really is fun because, dammit, there is nothing better than the going out there and fighting the fight and suddenly you see things are better.
“I want to know that I’ve done everything I could everyday, and I think about those people out there who are depending on us. I think about that and it does make me feel that we’ve got more work. I need more help, get those spectators either in the playing field or out of the arena. Really, that’s how I feel about it.
“I do what I can, and I do it the way I do everything. [laughs] There’s nothing part-of-the way for me.”

Tom,
Help Britney with your Scientology mind magic and prove all the disbelievers wrong! Let’s see how amazing “IT” is!!!! LOL
I remember the Scientology place on Yonge Street in Toronto trying to get us as young teenagers to come in. My mom told me just recently that when I was a child our favourite nanny had been recruited and brainwashed and we never saw her again. These people prey on the young and vulnerable.
DAMN! Tom is off the deep end! “KatE” is blinded by overflow of Scientology money and does nothing all day but shop and play dress up. Note to POSH…stay away from Xenu Juice.
i was in new york about a year ago on business. i was wondering around trying to find a slice and found myself across the street from a scientology center. i thought it would be funny to go in and check it out and tell my friends i’d actually been in one…but i chickened out b/c that group scares the piss out of me and i didn’t want to take any chances that they would manage to get in my head….even if i just went in for a little while.
Tom Cruise you are the best
yehh TomKat num. 1
Hannah:
When my 18-year-old son and I were in New York last year and we were wandering around in Times Square, we came across a man handing out flyers to the Scientology Center. I did not even bother to accept it, but my son was curious and started reading it, and wouldn’t you know, the guy handing the flyers really wanted him to check it out. He followed us for some minutes, talking to my son and trying to entice him to attend a meeting. I finally said to the man, “you know, he has no job, no money except allowance from me, so he wouldn’t be useful to you.” Finally the man left us alone. I was so spooked out by the persistence that I flagged a cab right there and then and we went back to my uncle’s house.
briseis,
Yup, I was just off of Time Square…thank god no one approached me or I think I would have had some sort of “accident”! Thank goodness you told them your son didn’t have any money to give them…that was def the way to go. They had ZERO interest in him at that point I’m sure!
Scientologists “allow” their members to “work” with non-members but NEVER socialize (hang out with, marry, etc.) UNLESS they can be converted.
When he did “Interview With the Vampire” back in the early 90’s, he was NOT pleased that a HW “newcomer”/non-scientologist Brad Pitt was MORE popular than he was. He spent 10+ years trying to “show” Brad the “way” to all things bright and beautiful.
Insiders said that it was Brad’s quiet, “Thank you, but I’m not interested. I want to expand my mind with learning about different cultures and religions. My family (pre-JA, pre-AJ) are part of me. I won’t turn my back on them or anyone else.”
Tom doesn’t “hang out” with Brad Pitt — But on rare occasions when their paths cross (awards shows, fund-raisers, celebratory parties {for something another star has done}, etc.) he’s quick to get photographed “smiling” and “embracing” his “good buddy” Brad.
I’m leaving now.
‘Bye!
Well, this confirms it. He IS insane!
Hmmm- so I guess all the emergency personnel who are actually TRAINED PROFESSIONALS are “scientologists in training” since “scientologists are the onyl ppl. on this planet who can “really help” (responding to psycho-Cruise’s little tidbit about helping out ppl. who have been in an accident)…
Geez– high on yourself just a little? He needs to vanish/go away and “preach” his scieno-crazy beliefs to deaf animals on an island oasis far, far, far AWAY from CIVILIZED SOCIETY!
CUCKOO!!!!!!
Jared thank you for printing the text, as the video is already taken down. Scientologists are on lookout for pulling any negative videos off internet, meddling with people’s freedom of speech. If they don’t have anything to hide, they won’t try to control the media. A huge proof this is a money-making cult. I hope they don’t threaten you. Let us know if you hear anything from them!
# 155-157 the same person ;)
Aren’t you spooked by the Bible Bangers at church or the one that come to your door and want to bring you closer to Jesus or whatever?! I am. They are more scary. Opus Dei IS scary.
Have you heard how the Christianity started?! It was considered a Cult back than. Or the Inquisition? They’ve burned people if they show just a little doubt in God. That’s scary and weird. And it is still at present times. One nation under God. Remember?
As I live near their ‘World Temple’ I know way too much about this group.
The only thing they are helping is to help themselves to all of your money until you are broke and must work for them selling their vitamins or what ever else they want. They will distroy you, cut you off from your family and if you ever want out will hunt you down telling everyone lies about you.
Tom was not treated in any way like anyone else. He was treated like a prince and groomed to be the spoke person for Scientology . Read the new book about him….its not a fantasy.
no matter what, i’m still a TC-forever fan
He’s such an insane idiot.
What a freaking nut-case.
rossy40: Gee, I forgot that Tom was even in that movie with Brad. Just goes to show you who really made that movie — BRAD!
I can’t remember when I saw this on TV, but there was this woman who was a Scientologist to the core. Her son was bipolar and needed meds, but she refused, as ‘vitamins’ and the church would cure him. Well, her son stabed her to death!! I can’t remember her name, but when interviewed before her son killed her, she went on and on about how the church would save her son.
Oh.,..the response of CLAMS is always to refer one to catholism and how bad it was..its an old tactic….
As mentioned before, the catholic church allows you to leave freely if you choose and I am not conversant with any catholic who had to be deprogrammed like scientologist who defect
Also there are christian cults that is not be confused with christianity..obvioulsy even insane people realise cults do make money.
So who in their right mind will follow a psychopath..read jsut how insane the red haired freak was:

Boy , Jared are you going to be under attack by the clams today, you were doing so well with all the free publicity for tomkat, now you are a suppressive person!!hahah
Brad was a scientologist for a minute or more like a second..ahahha

It is obvious that this video has been edited - that’s why it doesn’t sound like he is saying much of anything. Don’t know who did the editing but I would love to hear the uncut version so I really get to know what Tom Cruise believes. Not saying I agee with Scientology but not fare editing to make someone look strange and crazy. Leave the video intact and let us all judge for ourselves. Maybe the video has been yanked because it has been edited and doesn’t give a clear view of their beliefs.
He is really creepy and weird and an arrogant b*****d. I’m all for freedom of religion and all that, but he’s carrying this way to far…
And yes, while other people may have similar beliefs, and even if some of the stuff he says sound good, the thing is he comes across as a fanatic, and like most fanatics, he is scary.
