Tom Cruise Scientology Video Outbreak
Here’s a peek into Tom Cruise and his beliefs in Scientology via Gawker. You must watch the video below–it’s definitely making the rounds in the blogosphere.
Basically, Tom goes off on how dedicated he is to being a Scientologist and how he will “not hesitate to put [his] ethics in someone else!” Here are some of the highlights via Us Weekly:
“I think it’s a privilege to call yourself a Scientologist, and it’s something that you have to earn because a Scientologist does… has the ability to create new and better realities and improve conditions. Being a Scientologist, you look at someone and know absolutely that you can help them.
“Being a Scientologist, when you drive past an accident… you know you have to do something about it because you know you’re the only one that can really help.
“But that’s what drives me… I know that we have an opportunity to really help… effectively change people’s lives and I am dedicated to that. I am absolutely, uncompromisingly dedicated to that.
“We have a responsibility.
“We are the authorities on getting people off drugs, we are the authorities on the mind, we are the authorities on improving conditions… we can rehabilitate criminals.
“…We can bring peace and unite cultures…
“Traveling the world and meeting the people that I’ve met, talking with these leaders in various fields, they want help and they are depending on people who know and who can be effective and do it and that’s us. That is our responsibility to do that.
“It is the time now. Now is the time… Being a Scientologist, people are turning to you, so you better know it, you better know it and if you don’t, go and learn it, but don’t pretend you know it. It’s like we’re here to help.
“If you’re a Scientologist, you see life, you see things the way they are, in all its glory, all of its complexity and the more you know as a Scientologist, you don’t become overwhelmed by it.
“Look, I wish the world was a different place. I’d like to go on vacation and go and romp and play and just do that, you know what I mean. That’s what I want it to be. There’s times I’d like to do that, but I can’t because I know I have to do something about it.
“I have to do it because I can’t live with myself if I don’t, and that really is it.
“So it’s our responsibility to educate, create the new reality. We have that responsibility to say, ‘Hey, this is the way it should be done because we do it this way and people are actually getting better.’
“And let’s get it done. Let’s really get it done and have enough love and compassion and toughness that you’re really going to do it and do it right.
“I have to tell you something – it is rough and tumble, and it’s wild and wooly, and it’s a blast, it’s a blast, it really is fun because, dammit, there is nothing better than the going out there and fighting the fight and suddenly you see things are better.
“I want to know that I’ve done everything I could everyday, and I think about those people out there who are depending on us. I think about that and it does make me feel that we’ve got more work. I need more help, get those spectators either in the playing field or out of the arena. Really, that’s how I feel about it.
“I do what I can, and I do it the way I do everything. [laughs] There’s nothing part-of-the way for me.”

You may not agree with his religion and I certainly don’t but I would not trash the guy for his beliefs. I think he is genuinely a nice guy who seeks nirvana and obviously strives to do good.
remnants of jim jones in that rant. pretty damned scary. just proves to me unequivocally, jada & will smith are morons and katie holmes is a brainwashed little twit.
Nothing wrong with him he just believes in his faith very strongly good for him.
May,
Guess again, brainiac. Brisies and I are not the same person but whatever…..You’re obviously a cult freak and so you aren’t responsible for your comments and thoughts as they aren’t actually your own to begin with. Have a nice life, douche.
ROFLMAO..HAHHA cult freak ahahhahah;..
i tried to buy the book today at Indigo but it wasn’t on sale. Does anyone know the status of this book in Canada? I am intrigued by this nutjob.
This is TOTAL PROOF tommy does NOT LOVE Katie. He has taken her in and made her his CHARITY PROJECT.
I said from the start that she was his Liza Doolittle and he thinks he is henry higgins.
Just dont use a credit card to buy it..pay cash, I have a feeling the nut jobs will be waging their fair game polices against suppresive persons ..who dare read smuxk abou thier crown prince ans father of thier reincarnated pysho red haired freak../have no clue about the availablity of the book..
What scares me most are the lowlives that come here and stalk the Cruises. Their goal in life is to judge and their full time job to troll about Katie,Tom and baby Suri. Your parents and religions must be so proud.
Every religion, cult, different religious denominations recruits, save souls and evangelizes.
They all think its weird but everything changes once they join the group.
I dont hate Cruise or judge him. I let my God do that. I say that because Im Mormon and I get treated badly by their ignorance.
What’s different about this than the rest?
I used to be Catholic and now Im Calvinists. We are also trained to recruit lots of people to church. We are given materials and books about Scientologists,Catholics,Christian Science,Jews,Muslims,Hindu,Kabbalah,Atheists,Mormons,Seventh Day Adventists et al so we know how to answer and not offend these people. We’re even impress how good other groups are and dedicate with their recruitment. Every group thinks of other groups as weird and crazy. Many do soul searching what religion they really love or belong to. It is wrong to hate and judge.
Haven’t seen any of his movies in over a decade. If you want to stop him, stop supporting him and his projects
Scientology is a cult! Tom Cruise’s crazy antics are not humorous. Scientology is not a joke. He claims that he has sacrificed the most for Scientology and uses himself as the standard for how its members should behave. This is absurd considering that those members who do not hold the social or economic status of Tom Cruise have lost homes, families, jobs, and their lives (quite literally, one women died, of all things, dehydration in one of their “sessions.”) Why would any organization that claims to be for good, shroud themselves in secrecy and threaten those who publicly criticize them?

Please educate yourselves!
Just because someone posts that they do not agree with this cult does NOT make them a hater.
Crap! It doesn’t matter what your religion is or what you believe in, if you want to help people and change the world and be a positive example, then go, do it — not because your dictated by your religion but because you truly and sincerely want to help.
Poor, poor Kate & Suri…to have to live with THAT!
damn…I wish I could have seen the vid!
OMG… Its really crazy. WTF, only a scientologist can help people? WTH http://arabaquarius.blogspot.com/
Jesus Christ, Tom is crazy. He is really insane.
He is all over the place. If he was poor, they would put him in the nut house.
Money gives you allowance to be mad.
..scaryyy.. tom is only making scientology look bad.im sure he means well but he’s overlooking a lot of things. ive always wondered why my cousin is calling him a nutter. now i see.
The guy is a lunatic, but he’s no different than anyone else who believes in an Invisible Sky Fairy. Christians, Muslims, Jews and all other crackpot religions essentially have the same silly beliefs - it’s just that his is a little newer than other people’s.
that man is talking nuts…
I don’t agree with Scientology, but how would this world be if everyone had that much passion about helping others and giving themselves 100% to what they believe in? It would be a much better place to live. Like I said, I don’t believe in Scientology, but I have more respect for the man now, because after reading what he said and hearing what others who know him have to say about him, he practices what he preaches. And he doesn’t expect from others what he himself has not already done. Like other posters said, every religion thinks their own is the best. I am a Christian, and the whole time I was listening to him talk, I was thinking, “it’s too bad he’s not this passionate about God, instead of “LRH”".
Money can not buy mental health. It can help you get proper care, but first he has to recongnize he needs help.
Also money can make you sell your soul, sorry Katie.
