OlderVanessa Hudgens Helps the Homeless
Vanessa Hudgens makes a generous gesture in Los Angeles on Monday, showing her generosity by giving a $10 bill to a homeless man sitting by the side of the road.
The High School Musical alum, who was driving her convertible Audi with her mom Gina, made the kind gesture as she was waiting at a red traffic light.
The mother-daughter duo then headed to a pharmacy, and later met up with a female friend to grab lunch. When Vanessa returned home, she covered her nose with her hand because of strong smells of asphalt as the street was being re-surfaced.
At the end of the day, Vanessa bought some more clothes at Urban Outfitters in Studio City. She just seems to live there, doesn’t she?

Vanessa is a sweet person who likes to do things for others. I’m sure giving the homeless man money is just second nature to her. Also she was raised Catholic and that is what we do; give to those less fortunate.

Did any of you who are slamming Vanessa for doing something nice *and should be ashamed of yourselves* stop to consider that maybe just MAYBE she doesn’t carry large amounts of cash around with her? That maybe just maybe she gave him $10 because at that moment that’s what she had on her. In fact a pap told a story about lending Vanessa and Ashley $5 for valet parking on Christmas Eve because they didn’t have the cash on them.
Besides I’m sure that like every red-blooded American teenager, Vanessa probably pays for her shopping with a credit card.
What really gets me if what was any other celebrity all of you bashers would saying “That was cool.” You’re nothing but a bunch of spiteful brats. Knock it off and grow the hell up.

All of you teeners and tweeners and other immature people should step back and take a look at yourself before criticizing others. Vanessa didn’t have to do a thing for that homeless man - she could have just driven by like hundreds of other people. But she didn’t and kudos to her for being a generous, kind person.

Oh, what a sweet girl. Nice of her to think of her fellow man.
For those who would have given that man a sandwich: you don’t just give someone a sandwich. What if he’s allergic to something in the sandwich? What if he doesn’t like what you give him? Wouldn’t you rather he have what he wants and still have some money to spare to buy something to drink, or even have some change leftover to buy bus fare or make a phone call? Vanessa gave that man something that would give him the freedom to choose what he wanted to do with his money. Yes. His money. She gave it to him. She gave him dignity, instead of her leftovers. Ten dollars may not be a lot of money nowadays, but the value of dignity has no limit.
