George Clooney and girlfriend Sarah Larson heat up the red carpet at The 2007 National Board of Review Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd street on Tuesday in New York City.
The 46-year-old star picked up Best Actor for playing the title role in Michael Clayton. He also presented the Coen brothers with Best Picture of the Year for No Country for Old Men. Here’s People’s funny report of how it went down:
“They can do anything,” Clooney said of director Joel, 53, and writer, Ethan, 50. Summarizing their filmography and the audience to whom their movies appeal, Clooney said, “For stoners, there’s The Big Lebowski … for funny, there’s Raising Arizona.”
Clooney also said that what was “most fun is, these guys hate [awards shows]. They are the worst you have ever seen at this. Watch when they get up here,” Clooney warned. “Ethan won’t talk. Joel will finally say, ‘Thanks, man,’ then just leave.”
Sure enough, came their brief time at the podium, Ethan didn’t talk, and Joel finally said, ‘Thanks, man’ – and left.
This left Clooney to go back to his table and a smiling Larson, who gave him a look of approval and a pat on the shoulder.

no brad doesn’t know how to kiss ass like clooney otherwise brad too would be getting major awards for mediocre work!!! i rest my case.
Why has not a single person in Hollywood said, “Clooney and Soderberg were taken to court for plagiarism so how and, more importantly, why is it that Clooney is now the poster boy for writer’s strike negotions? Doesn’t the like the material he’s already been given…er, I mean sent?”

I just googled Marlo Thomas and that does not look like her. Recent picture was in November, the nose is thinner, eyes aren’t slanted the same, lips aren’t as full. I don’t think that’s Marlo.

i am one of george clooney ’s fan and of all his girl friends i love sara larson the most so far because not only she is beautiful ,she is so innocent looking as well which is rare to find and i know for sure that he can’t find any body better than her that has both qualities, they are either plain looking and innocent or beautiful but shark and the reason i keep saying it may be he reads it believe me if i was related to him or her i would not have to post the comment i would tell him directly. they both look sooooooooooooo good together and she makes george look good and a real fan would say the same thing to him unless he/ is not a fan like yours truly who is so upset about someone telling him that sara larson is good for him because you are jealous and not a real fan , i will keep saying it , do you have any problem with that. and stop being jealous of some one so sweet like george. shame on you.

Sorry, anonymous I ‘m a real fan and Sarah Larson is real attractive, but the photos, the video and rumors of her being an escort does not make George look good. His fans don’t speak out because it is his life and we could care less who the flavor of the moment is. WE DO KNOW she’ll be gone eventually, so no need to get attached to her. It is kind of weird that you state you love someone you don’t even know.
George Clooney will settle down again when George Clooney is good and ready, have you not watched Scott Baio is 46 and single. No woman can make a man settle down, he needs to be in that mind set already. Good show, reminds me of George Clooney .
