Fans–please ignore the trolls and keep this thread positive.
This is for a very important and much needed cause. If the trolls are so shallow and desperate to try to undermine such a wonderful project which is going to help many people who desperately need it, it just shows how pathetic they are. Ignore them, they hate being ignored :lol:

My thoughts on the Make it Right project :–

There is good that come out of these. 1st — People who were displaced will have a home. 2nd — there will be jobs created during construction.

Finally, once this neighborhood is put back together, this can be a POTENTIAL tourist stop for tourists, visiting the area planned with the world’s renowned architects. We all know tourists love to visit UNESCO world heritage sites. The same reasoning can apply here.

Travel company can set up WALKING tours. Where can you find a place with all those houses, planned by world renowned architectects ALL IN ONE LOCATION ? And to see how eco-green features are applied, to learn about the history of pre and post Katrina. It could be very educational too.

With tourist bus bringing people to the neighborhood, there will be shops springing up to cater to the tourist, gift shops, restaurants, ice cream store, coffee shop, hotels, etc. Gift shops can sell post Katrina postcards, different houses blueprints, tote bags, MIR T shirts. Heck, they can even bottle those dirt or muds from the site and sell them. It’s all good for the local ECONOMY.

Tourism is big business !!!

Brad’s ideas are BRILLIANT !!! This is the man who has the foresights, the connection, the drive , and the heart. He has all my respect.

We should be greatful that Brad is shepherding this project with his precious TIME.

Two recent incidents show how Brad and Angie are held up to a different standard by the media.

1) Violent…or Heartbroken?

Scuffle went down the other day between Chris Martin and a paparazzo in New York after she left the hospital prompting some to call Chris violent and out of control.

Now I’m not one to hate on the paps – almost never in fact. The ones who use long lenses especially. Most of the time, they are called and they are tipped. And the truth of the matter is, celebrities need to be photographed as much as photographers need to be photograph celebrities.

So in the past, when Chris lost his sh*t, 100% he was acting a pissy ***** douchebag. But this time? Well… take a look first for yourselves. Click here for the clip and your heart will break a little.

You will note that Chris only flies off the handle when the pap offers his congratulations. The man’s wife had just come out of hospital – not exactly an occasion for celebration. Particularly if she was in hospital for terrible and tragic reasons. Can you imagine?

His reaction therefore sheds some light on what may have been ailing her. I’m told it had nothing to do with being undernourished as has been reported. That she was on some kind of cleanse and was overexerting herself and collapsed. My sources say that is very unlikely. What’s likely, rather, is sad smut.

Hope my poor Gwynnie gets well soon…

2) The Aniston Racist Update

Many of you have asked for an update on the situation. Click here for a refresher on what went down the other day. During the same “racialist” (booyakasha!) incident, Jennifer Aniston’s bodyguards also tried to run the photographer off the road. The paparazzo was using a long lens and was stationed over 2 blocks away from the set – in other words, not one of those crazy Britney Spears mobs.

As reported the other day, the photographer filed a report with the police. The police have since tried to locate the bodyguard and bring him in for questioning. My sources tell me exclusively however that once word of police involvement reached the set, the decision was made for the bodyguard to flee the country and he left Canada immediately. Jennifer reluctantly sent him home to avoid being investigated. Which is why the police have been unable to locate him over two days.

Rumour has it she was disappointed but did defend him, insisting that he must have been provoked to have uttered something so reprehensible. I guess that’s an acceptable excuse for calling someone a *****.

Meanwhile she’s now requested extra help, asking the studio to pay for 5 extra security assistants to shield her at all times during outside location shots, even though two days ago, she was photographed waving at the paps.

If that was brad giving a paparazzo the beat down, haters will have nationwide call for his head. Jen’s bodyguard used a racist word in CANADA but it doesn’t get picked up by the US media yet news from INDIA made headlines here in a flash.

Brad could have done what many people did,
writing checks to support a charity. But he didnt.
He took on a big risk, to bring a difficult project
into fruitation, to ask people to donate to the

I’m iffy on Ellen, she sort of irritates me with her behaviour for some reason. But, like Oprah (who equally irritates me at times) she really is a generous person and bringing MIR into the spotlight around her is an awesome thing to do. I hope she inspires many more people to adopt these homes.

My own contribution to this whole thing is that we should stop encouraging gossips and lies by tabloids and haters concerning Brad and Angie when these two people spend so much time helping others. I remember when Brad traveled to Germany to talk to some architects, I am sure concerning Make it Right, all the tabloids wrote about was about him leaving his family. Let’s spend less time misinterpreting every move of this family and more time appreciating whatt they do. God bless the family.

It’s long been rumored that Katie Holmes was the last girl on a long list of girls Tom Cruise tried to recruit to be his wife; a list of young female celebrites which included Scarlett Johansson. Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography (aka, “the greatest book ever”), is now claiming that after his divorce from Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise reportedly also had his sights on Jennifer Garner. Katie Holmes Marathon Mystery Deepens With New Questions About Unidentified Runner #6074

Blogger Harlem 26.2 (whose description, “The chronicles of a Black man running through Harlem in pursuit of rebuilding his business, a sub 3:00 marathon, and a wife - all through the lens of running,” is our current favorite) has been following all the Katie Holmes marathon conspiracy theorizing closely, and adds a fascinating insight to the mix that discounts the official “lone runman” theory:

All the conspiracy theories fail to mention or recognize the “mystery runner” that accompanied Katie in the race.
He wore bib # 6074, he does not show up or exist in the results database. He’s the first runner in the history of the NYC Marathon to “not exist”. He can be seen in photos on Flickr, we have the links on our site, just look in the comments of today, you’ll see them.
The conspiracy fails when you see Katie has registered “split times” - however they could have been recorded by this “mystery runner, bib # 6074 - wearing her assigned timing chip - clearly adjacent to her at all times in the few photos that exists. Check out site, the photos on flickr, the NYC Marathon database - that runner is a total mystery….

One obvious explanation is that the tall, dark, and handsome mystery runner is Holmes’s bodyguard, as the guy looks like he knows his way around a Krav Maga death-pinch. Still, that doesn’t entirely rule out that Agent 6074’s frequency-mimicking chip wasn’t also receiving constant wireless dispatches from HQ, instructing him at one point to “detonate the fire hydrant by the entrance to the Queensboro bridge, then replace Runaway Bride with her bionic cyberclone during the ensuing confusion. Over.”
