I dont agree that Brit is bipolar. Americans tend to use the term “depressed” and “bipolar” loosely. America is the only country which has a high number of psychiatrists or psychologist compare to some other western countries. Psychiatrists also love to prescribe medications many times when it’s NOT necessary.

Are her behaviors crazy and erratic? Yes !!! But NOT crazy in the medical sense.

The press tend to dramatize things.

Does she need to go to the mental hospital? Absolutely NOT !!!!

You mentined that you were disappointed that the hospital released her early. I totally disagree. I dont believe she’s in danger of hurting herself. Generally, when the doctors feel you’re safe to go home, they dont keep you longer than necessary. Dont we sometimes react hysterically or behave erractically when faced with disappointment, or when we just want to give up? But that does NOT translate to mental illness.

Does she need help? Yes. She does need to be surrournded by loyal people, and NOT opportunist. All her moves being recorded and been reported to the public certainly dont help.

As a mother, I would say, having her talking to a psychiatrist (not for medication), just for someone to talk to, to vent etc help. She needs GUIDENCE in life skills, in setting goals etc. She needs loyal friends whom she can trust.

Lylian, I know your husband is a physician, and I know you’re Asian. You should know Asia is not “big” on this psychology thing..

That’s really nice of her, I hope, the dream homes of Brad Pitt to have 150 homes build will be accomplished in no time. He needs more help from others. Haven’t received my pink tote bag yet that I ordered on line, maybe next week, it will arrive, I can’t wait to get hold of it. I also donated a small amount to Brad’s cause in NOLA.
