Britney Spears has a mental illness called multiple personality disorder, TMZ is reporting.
When Britney assumes the “British accent thing,” it’s not just an accent. It’s “The British Girl.” When Brit loses the British personality, she has no recollection of it.
Other identities Britney assumes are “The Weepy Girl,” “The Diva,” and “The Incoherent Girl.”
Apparently Brit assumed “The British Girl” the day she forgot her deposition and has absolutely no idea what happened that day.

I look at Britney as any other celebrity in that they lead a rich and glamourous life. What is tragic is that should something horrible happen to this young lady/mother we are all to blame.
When you buy those magazines that plaster her picture in every frame of her life you are pushing the machine along that attacks her everyday. It is us the simple folk that are truly in the driver’s seat.
In my opinion there should be legistation passed that only allows any type of media to report on something that actually pertains to the career of the celebrity ie: a red carpet event, charity event, public event that they are attending because of their celebrity. Not when they get gas, go out for lunch or dinner, shopping or going to church!
We will all have it on our hands if something pushes this young woman with obvious mental health issues to harms herself in a perminant way.
Let’s re-think our role in this feeding frenzy.
i am so sad for listening to all these bad news about her bcuz i know she is quite talented.
i’d like to see her back again recovering the throne that so many opportunist ******* have try to own.
somehow i know it’s going to be quite difficult to see her completely as a star again. i say that because it will take her too long to recover with surgeries all the hair she’s lost on her forehead. sorry, had to say that.

i cant believe how people are getting off on this poor girls problems. if there is something wrong with her it is because of the press, saying terrible things about her and driving her crazy. i think im going nuts with two kids around all the time, can you imagine someone always with or watching you unless your using the toilet? maybe?
i just get a kick out of people thinking and assuming they know whats going on, but i dont think we have any idea. so why not shut up…the damage is done already..

I think she may have multiple personality disorder.. And just for you IDIOTS it really is a disorder.. and when it happens SHE has no idea.. She doesnt THINK she is british you RETARDS she actually takes on a different person inside if her.. Later returns to herself and remembers nothing that happened.. Crazy stuff.. Usually happens to people who have alot of mental trauma.. And with everything that has happened in this girls life its very possible…
And for the record it doesn’t show up ONLY in childhood it can happen at ANY time…

If Britney has D.I.D., that would mean something traumatic happened in her life before age 9. It is true that all of the alters do have names. Sometimes they are not average names. There could be Tree or Jo and Lil Jo. People are not always aware of the others. Some may be aware of each other and some may not. It is almost like they are on different planes. People with D.I.D. usually know another multiple when they see them. We haven’t really seen Britney other than little blurbs on television. People with D.I.D. are extremely intelligent. Most therapists say that splitting off is the most intelligent way to deal with abuse. It can be physical, sexual or psychological. The alters are sometimes very different from one another. They wear different clothes, like different food, have different allergies and see themselves as someone totally different from the host body. They are different ages and can even be from places that the host body has never been, Being in therapy is a long road to journey down. It can take in most cases around 8 years to put your life into perspective. Some intergrate, some incorperate and some choose to function as a group. No matter what some psychologists say, the alters never go away. They can be called on when they are needed. We state this because we know this. We live this life on a day to day basis. There are 155 of us. We are not crazy or freaks. At least 11% of the population has D.I.D. Those who think D.I.D. is the same is scizophrenia are totally uneducated. We hope that if Britney lives a life like we do, she can find some understanding people and a good therapist.
Britney Spears has got to have HPD (Histrionic Personality Disorder). Look it up on Wikipedia and it fits her. My sister has HPD and could be a twin of Britney. She is always making a mess of her life and is prego with her 4th kid because she likes pregnancy attention. She has inapproriate relationships with everyone and thinks she is in love with every guy she meets. Brings drama everywhere she goes and is a drug and alcohol abuser. Been to rehab plenty of times but the real problem is fixing the HPD and that should help the other substance abuse. People with HPD need to be called out on it or they will think they are fooling everyone. They hurt a lot of people around them with no remorse and try to convince other people that they themselves are the victom instead of taking the responsibility. Whew, okay, now I need to go tell that to my sister.
I actually think this may be her dianosis, however the reporter really should do more investigating the DSM-IV-TR Published by the American Psychiatric Association no longer calls this disorder Multiple Personality Disorder. It has been calledf Dissociative personality disorder since before 2000

according to me guys around her make unwanted rumors about her like that to spoil her name.As soon as she engaged,she declared that she wont involve in her field.this proves her innocent character.because of al these problems she may felt in such disorders…

Wow pathetic, she gives a bad name to anyone with dissociative identity disorder. They had to suffer through overwhelming abuse and survive just to see this blatantly untalented woman with absolutely NO reported or documented history of abuse use this as some alibi to get some sympathy and win a court case.
