The Associated Press (oh, just the world’s largest news organization) has already begun preparing Britney Spears’ obituary!!!
“We are not wishing it, but if Britney passed away, it’s easily one of the biggest stories in a log time,” AP entertainment editor Jesse Washington tells Us Weekly.
“I think one would agree that Britney seems at risk right now,” Washington adds. “Of course, we would never wish any type of misfortune on anybody and hope that we would never have to use it until 50 years from now…but if something were to happen, we would have to be prepared.”

To be fair, most, if not all, newspapers begin compiling info for obitiuaries early—that’s why when a celebrity dies, their obituary is printed so soon.
well, i can’t say i blame them for planning ahead. yes, it’s morbid and they probably shouldn’t be speaking about it but well….i just don’t really care what happens to her anymore. if that makes me a bad person so be it. my concern has officially shifted to just her children and i have no emotions left for her but disgust and disdain.
Ok im not a britney fan , but for god sake to say such things is just horrible and disgusting whishing that WOW im speechless , the limit of some of these so called press is getting too far….im actually more shocked by such statement than britney .
This is common practice at the Associated Press. Honestly, my friend’s sister works for the AP in San Antonio and they have obituary files for local celebrities.

These people are vultures waiting to make money off this poor girl’s misfortune. People may not like what she is doing and even blame her for the publicity but Britney is obviously sick and needs help to get out of the grave she’s digging for herself by not doing so rather than being helped into the grave by those in need of the biggest story of the decade.

I’m a journalist. Just a general note, the AP writes obituaries for most celebrities long in advance of any ill health.
That’s an awful thing to do but at the same time I’m scared for her. I think she needs help and not on her terms. I hope she’s gonna be ok. I really do.

a lot of people wants to help da brit but i think she refused, she’s very thick in the head, da brit can only help herself, now, a lot are saying that the papz/media should leave her alone but they won’t do it, if the papz/media won’t spare her then she sholud take action to leave them alone i mean go far far away where nobody can follow you, she can do it if she wants to but then again, you never know w/da brit, she loves the papz though, like a meth.
Maybe that is enough to wake her up. I doubt it though. I did hear that Sam guy’s interview where he said she is fine and back on track. She’ll never be on track with people like that around her

How awful can you be to a person? She is going through such a tough time and I personally think she is trying. I mean it’s hard enough to have a personal, emotional breakdown make international headlines every week and having paparazzi around when your children are taken away from you. But, to have an obituary written about you on top of all of this WHILE you are alive, is just wrong.
Krung Krung, it is impossible to help someone who refuses to see a problem and then push everyone away who try. Britney is the only one responsible for Britney.
