I was just busy reading a very long but highly good written post by somebody named “Rosemadder” on the “touching his forehead”-thread… and I totally agree to the whole first paragraph of this post. Not to the relationship-part though.
Unlike many others I do believe they are a couple. Hayden is not the type to show affection in public, probably he learned from doing it in Italy and with S.M. that it was not a good idea so he tries to play it down this time.
But let’s face it: HE IS THE ONE getting on a plane and flying to L.A. in first place (although he always claimed he hates that city), HE IS THE ONE to get into Bilson’s car and go out with her shopping etc. They have been seen on several vacations together, although not stated by photographs, but said by many different people - why should all of them lie and tell the very same story? This would sound not logical to me. His family has often been seen with Bilson, so they seem to respect her (WHY is an enigma to me? I would WARN my son/brother about this girl, but maybe they don’t want to lose him.).
So I think they are definitely a couple but Hayden is trying to do it as “not in public” as possible which is of course ridiculous when being with a media horny person like Bilson at all. If he wants his peace in private life, go out and search for a more decent woman, buddy! LOL And as to “but he does not talk about it and not approve it” - well, he never will. Hayden always was like that and even said it loud in this horrible “E-Talk”-interview in spring 2007 that he, quote, “usually denies everything”. Yeah, that’s the way he treats things. So fans who believe him his denial are just as naive as fans who fall for Bilson’s “wearing the H-necklace”-stunt. And she plays with that in that GQ-interview with laughing first and THEN coming out with mentioning her little sister. She’s a trained media player, always was.
But Hayden, although saying nothing in interviews or even denying, also says something. Action speaks louder than words IMO. And by getting into her car, allow to be seen and connected with her etc. he silently speaks. Quiet agreement. But this is just my point of view after observing this whole matter for many months, and Hayden for many years.

Hayden even spent the night with S.M. and It seem like he was just going straight for the looks of her and not the brain,he said he likes “spunky” girls,so he’s trying a little bit too hard to have a girl in his life. He’s jumping the gun too quick. Here you have Rachel B. single from Adam and there is a hottie by the name of Hayden,so ofcourse she’s gonna pounce on him like a peice of steak…she sure idi get over Adam quick,laughing and flirting with Hayden on set. WTF. I don’t like Rachel for Hayden because Hayden is the COMPLETE oppostie of Rachel,it’s like a dog f***ing a mouse. a completley NON-match!,IN ALL THE PICTURES. I don’t see laughing,rachel hitting hayden in the arm,smilling constantly( like in the teen for jean add),so to me this all seems FAKE as in being on camera and off! wtf is going on lol,one minute in candids there isn’t no body languauge or smilling closeness going on,then the next infront of the cameras there are laughing,smilling acting like a couple. I can honestly say that I still have my doubts,you know. I mean maybe it could be a publicity stunt,that has everyone fooled in the end,because IM SORRY BUT,WHEN HAYDEN IS REALLY,REALLY INTO A GIRL…YOU CAN DEFINATLEY TELL. example number one-Natalie P. even though he wasnt in a relationship with her,,,still he showed some laughing and effection. example number 2-S.M.,hello Hayden wasnt aware of the paps (that i can see) and he slept over with her,took her to dinner more than once,been to his hometown,kissed her..and blah blah,and I f I want to believe that Hayden and MS.Bilson is an item,then I would believe it by seeing a little effection or laughing or SOMETHING. S.M. a “spunky” woman? Well, if never be totally there but in a condition of drunk and/or in drugs is surely “spunky”… NOT! Sad LOL.
Bilson falling for Hayden himself, or falling for the fact that he is a little bigger name than Adam Brody?! At least Hayden had done theatrical movies, not just worked for TV. Surely Bilson is aware of that fact too (and already was in Rome as she was hitting on Hayden WHILE still being with Brody who even visited her there. Clearing my throat, as this behavior speaks for itself.)
And IF all this is just a media stunt, and Hayden is fully involved in that without having real emotions towards Bilson, does that make him to a better person? I don’t think so!

Thanks for the compliment about my post on the other thread. I was just stating how I felt just coming into all this. I respect your opinion even though I don’t agree with it. It’s a very well thought out opinion and stated without malice towards anyone. But, I do, with all due respect, disagree with you on your comments made in posts #54 & #57 to a certain degree. You’re absolutely right. Christensen isn’t who a lot of people think he is. He’s not all good and sweet like a lot of people want to believe. He has his flaws and problems which the affairs of the heart may be one of those issues he has. That doesn’t make him a bad person though. That doesn’t make him a “celebrity.” That makes him HUMAN. He just doesn’t air it out for all to see or at least tries not to. The problem may be not that he’s not as intelligent as you thought he was because even the most intelligent people make some really stupid mistakes and decisions and sometimes more than once. Especially if it has to do with a major issue they are trying to grapple with if known or the may not even be aware that they have that issue yet. Since no one here has that access pass into his everyday life, we can’t know things for certain. Unless you have that physically there, actually hang out, talk at length with him, his family, his close friends, you can’t know all the facts even though you may have been observing from AFAR for years. There’s much more going on behind closed doors and out of the public view that NO ONE except those directly involved know about. Not all the puzzle pieces are for the public’s view and you need those pieces in question to get to the real truth of the matter. That’s not going to happen. Since it’s not going to happen, there’s no point in speculating and saying something is the truth when it very well may not be.

But, again with all due respect, saying Christensen was pretending to be someone he wasn’t or who you thought him to be isn’t at all fair. Of course he didn’t show every aspect and facet of his personality to complete and total strangers. Most don’t. And, that’s what his fans and the world’s population in general are to him. Strangers. Most he has never met and probably never will. He’s not going to share his innermost secrets and fears with any of us out here. He’s going to be polite and nice and respectful yet remain undeniably aloof. Of course he wants to keep a part of himself away from public consumption. That’s not too much to ask for. We all want that because it’s a basic human need. Even the media ***** Bilson wants that to some extremely tiny degree. It’s hard to see it but she does show it every now and then. Long periods in between when she wants it, hell yes. But, she does want it. And, yes, coming out into the public eye demands a certain level of loss in privacy but what he’s asking for isn’t a part of that. He’s asking for common decency. He’s got his issues like everyone else does. He’s got his damage that he needs to work through and fix on his own.

“Brainwashed” isn’t the right term. “Idolizing” is the right term. Putting someone known as a “celebrity” up on a pedestal so high that you don’t allow them to be human. And, of course they are going to fall off that pedestal over time when more and more of the tiny views of their different sides of their personality and what they are personally dealing with come to light ever so briefly. And, you can’t believe what people say even though many different people say the same thing without hardcore proof. It’s still only hearsay. Without the proof of photographs or videotape, it can still be denied with very little effort. There are several reasons for Christensen to have been spending so much time in LA that could very well not involved Bilson as to why he really came. He is going producer and he is beginning to take a more active role as a producer in his company. That has nothing to do with Bilson and it would still require him to be in LA a lot. He could very well just been hanging out with her as friends while he was there on his off time. Since he doesn’t spend too much time in LA normally he could very well not have too many friends his age that he can hang out with there. Very valid possibility. Or, then again, they might be or at least were dating. WE DON”T KNOW FOR SURE. WE”RE NOT IN ANY POSITION TO KNOW THAT FOR SURE. WE DON”T PERSONALLY KNOW THEM. It can go either way with very little ease. And, appearances especially from AFAR are extraordinarily deceiving. Until you or anyone of us are in that inner circle, can’t say anything either way with any conviction or certainty. We can only say what we think and how we feel and our individual opinions. Each and every one of us are entitled to our opinion and it should be respected but we can’t make claims as to what the truth really is. We’re not and most likely never will be in that position.

You’re welcome for the compliment on your other post, as you really know how to express yourself, and I admire that. Also I really liked the first part of it as said before.
Now I just want to reply to a few points you made in your latest post directed to me:
I have not CLAIMED anything about Hayden Christensen, but always stated that this is just my personal opinion due to observations I did for some years (since 2002). And yes, from AFAR, I’ve never said something else.
I used to defend Hayden just like you do, but now not anymore. And no matter if he and Bilson are just friends or more, HE SPENDS TIME WITH HER, which shows me (and again, JMO) that he is not disturbed by her shallow way, so he can not be that “profound” himself either. Bilson stands for superficiality. Sorry, but an intelligent person would run away from Bilson as far as his feet would carry him as alone everything which leaves the mouth of this girl is only hot air, not to talk about the rest she does.
I’ve heard from several sides that he is hard working on his farm and in his company… but sorry, I cannot SEE that, so I call that hearsay too. Just during the past year he was in L.A. so often, doing useless things like giving Bilson a ride or go shopping for pet food (HER dog) or furniture or in a home depot (surely not for the farm as in Canada they have own home depots I guess). Several holidays just rounded up that impression. He loves to TALK about his farm in interviews, yes, probably as it’s an innocuous subject in his opinion. Some fans also might like this idea of the “romantic farm life” and add that he would not even have electricity there if he just said he tries to produce it himself in a “green” way. ;-) But if you count two and two together from his other sightings/activities there is JUST NO TIME LEFT that he actually could do much HIMSELF at home. If he has people hired doing that for him, is another subject, but that does not make him hard working.
As to the productions, I always search for FPP mentioned in credits with movies since 2003, and I watch many movies, but they are never in except “SG”. Weird, eh? I already started to doubt that this firm still exists… then they have/had a branch in Toronto as well, don’t you think that with modern technologies (consider his parent’s business here!) it would not be possible to live in Canada and still be part of the business? I cannot imagine that, sorry. If every boss would always have to be in his headquarters himself not much would be going on in our world. Cell phones, laptops and wireless data transfer have been invented for something I guess. ;-)
Then personal problems… I fully agree to you saying that these things do not belong into public. I TOTALLY agree to that. But we all have them, many personal issues, and still we have to go out and do our jobs/fulfill our responsibilities etc., don’t you think? Or is an actor something “better” IYO who has own valid rules for that? That is the difference between kids and adults - the adults have to make it work somehow, no matter how hard it seems. That’s a process of maturity and experiences. Personal problems cannot be an apology for everything.
Seeing Hayden as a HUMAN with flaws etc… I always did, no doubt about that. I’m the last person to have idealized him too much. Just for being so human and seeming honest I loved him most, as this was so special in a business like this in which fake and insanity is on the agenda (I just mention Britney Spears without further comment, and she’s not the only one). And I totally understand that also these people want to keep parts of their lives private, and I do respect that, although I cannot see that wish in Bilson at all, no matter how hard I try. She seems to enjoy being in public far too much for my taste to be taken seriously in any matter. I think if she could she would do even more for seeing her name in print, and I agree to those statements earlier in this thread that she would even be in a show like “Big Brother” if she saw no other chance for so-called “fame”. She has to compensate her lack of talent with something I guess, as leading just a regular life seems not very appealing to Miss Bilson.
But I think it’s obvious Christensen has changed for about the last year or so… or maybe even earlier as I suppose it didn’t come overnight but was a process of development. Bilson is just one part of it. You call him so “polite” and “respectful” towards people… with these words just two things come into my mind which were not respectful towards his fans at all… but as I don’t want to start another painful discussion full of hatred over here I prefer to not going into detail here. And please don’t tell me that fans have no right at all etc., as I have heard that too often and do not agree to it in any way. Fans are the people after all who make this business work, and if somebody wants to be in it and earn good money with it he/she has to accept that.
