Wentworth Miller Family Photo
Prison Break star Wentworth Miller, aka Michael Scofield, was in Memphis, Tennessee late last month to celebrate a family reunion of descendants of the late Dr. Green Forte Pinkston of Memphis and Cordova. Pinkston, the grandson of freed Mississippi slaves, died in 1963.
Pictured are (from left) Mila Jasey (Went’s aunt), Rhena Jasey (Went’s cousin), Leigh Miller (Went’s younger sister), Wentworth and Jason Cox (Went’s cousin).

What is amazing is how much you are getting off on your “controversy” to the point of completely missing or most likely ignoring all the times those posters have been called on/out.
But thank you for this post. It does appear you are doing this for your own enjoyment and not at all about debating this particular topic. I blame myself in part because you do keep bringing up the same incorrect statement over and over and over again re “exploiting his background.”
I also disagree with Wentwood re “If he hadn’t been in The Human Stain there might not be any information out there AT ALL about his multi-racial heritage. He has done nothing to “exploit” his race, ever” because I do believe it had been brought up before THS. He just wasn’t as well known for it to have made any impact at the time.
Wentworth Miller is white. So my eyes tell me. He has black ancestors on his father’s side. Like million of Americans.
And the reverse is true. I can’t believe some people still believe in black/white divide and in the notion of “race”!
Jeezzz, we all come from Africa! Even the pinkest of whites has black genes., and the darkest black American has “pink” blood.
Have a DNA test to know your origins: you’ll be amazed.
Like Margaret Thatcher, ex UK Prime Minister, as pink as a slice of ham, who found out she has Arab ancestors( in a recent Channel 4 programme.)

I might add that Wentworth is very proud of his black ancestry and heritage. I cannot imagine that he wouldn’t date a black woman. And who’s to say he has not in the past. Went is far from shallow. If he met a woman he liked, I think he’d be attracted to her mind, honesty, kindness more than the color of her skin. If there’s chemistry and a connection, he’d go for it!!!

I disovered I am a descendent of Ursula (cool)…………….I’d love to debate the topic, but I don’t think JJ is the place to do it in and I would definetly have to do more research before I continue and hopefully not come across as a moron ;) ……………However that said I’ve been told many a times that I possess innate intelligence….. but not on this topic :)
I will read some more on the subject……and if you are still around and if I have something feasible to present, I hope you’ll be ready for some good informal conversations……………..

First time for me here and whowowo, it’s amazing, I never imagine for 1 second this was possible :-o It took me a long time to read all the comments. I’m shocked! (monkeys!!! ugly!!! rascism!!! and so on)Someone said that some of you doesn’t speak well english. Every comments are very clear to me ( maybe because i’m not english but spannish ;) ) And it’s not because we don’t have a good english that we cannot participate to a debate. The way you deal with your situation, cannot be applied to every multiracial person. Life it’s very complex and we all deal with it our own way. So I don’t agree when you call people’s comments “bullshit”. If you are open minded, let them speak their mind as you did. A debate lead us to a reflexion but it doesn’t mean that we agree.
And you all shouldn’t care that much about the insult regarding his family, Went his a big boy and he can handle it.

We’ve all seen Wentworth ’s dad picture.
He’s is very light skinned and looks like a Lebanese or Morrocan person. So, saying that he’s BLACK is exageration!!
But it remains that the family has a black heritage and they are proud of it , like they are proud of their white heritage.
Being of mixed background is a bonus. It helps you to broaden your mind and stay away from prejudice.
Only in America all this black/white controversy can happen. It’s ridiculous!

He’s just behind the woman with a black and pink coat: her hair hides his chin. You can see very well his complexion and he is very light.

He looks mediterranean to me, like a Spanish or Italian man.

Just a note.. That is Wentworth Millers’s great Grandfather.. His grandmother can be seen in the group shot in the news article and the woman in the black and pink coat is Went’s aunt as well.

#190 and #193, renata and leslie, not trying to be mean but the two of you really need to read more. black people in america have always been all complexions from the lightest to the darkest. ever heard of adam clayton powell and walter white? look at rosa parks, she was light too but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t black. black people come in all colors so yes, went’s father is black.
