I usually have brused from an IV but it doesn’t usually show up until a few days later. I have a friend who never bruises. BUT in the one picture where Zac is leaving by the back door of Paty’s it looked to me like there was a place on the inside of his right arm—around where blood is usually taken—where an IV might have been. It may be just the picture though.

My last post should have read take a “break right” now. Don’t know what happened there.

tell-tale #175 i guess you were lucky then? im a nurse and i can honestly say ive never removed an iv that hasn’t left a mark or seen a patient without one. who knows maybe his doctor at the hollywood hospital offered to put one into his foot instead since zac would have to go back to filming? Either that or they have some pretty amazing docs and nurses who put in perfect lines.

Like i said, im not going anywhere with this or suggesting that he didn’t have surgery. It’s just something i noticed is all. Maybe the pics aren’t clear enough to see. There is one pic in the other thread where he appears to have some sort of mark on his right arm.

That’s what it was Karen, I typed the K and my hands automatically typed the aren.

yeah i thought i saw the tape mark but you’re right when you zoom in you can definitely see the mark. mystery solved! lol. im so sad. i notice too many things like that. When the pics came out I was like “oohhh!! I need to find his IV scar!!!” ok thats too bizarre.

well…i am pretty dark-skinned, so its possible i have an iv bruise, i just cant see it. i just always assumed that iv needles were like shots though, theyre so small that you cant really see a marking. maybe its just me.

5 times?!? Ok thats just bad practice. You would normally try 2 or 3 times max and if you couldn’t get it you pass it on to someone with more experience.

Ok, he must have got a REALLLY good doctor… My friend was in hospital for 2 WEEKS and had to have a pillow because it hurted so much!
But he’s back, YAY!!
