OlderEllen Pompeo has a New ‘Do
Ellen Pompeo is sportin’ a new hairdo after stopping by the John Frieda salon in the Meatpacking District on Friday.
Famed celebrity hairstylist Harry Josh worked his magic in the salon, lunched at Pastis with Ellen and then went out shoe shopping together!
Josh recently blogged about Ellen:
“Hey everyone, so today I gave Ellen Pompeo a cool new sexy haircut and some sex kitten hilites to go with it! She is very funny and is full of life but of course there was typical madness everywhere after we left the salon with photogs following us around the streets while we went to Pastis for lunch in the meatpacking district in downtown NYC but she paid them no attention to them…she and her husband Chris couldn’t be more down to earth if they tried, they are incredibly generous and kind to everyone around them. She booked me to do her hair for the SAG awards next week in LA, so I am very excited to go out there and showcase her new color and haircut!!! I am so lucky!!! I feel blessed to have the job I have. xxxxoo harry”

yeah she’s 38 but she looks GREAT. she has this baby face cute look thing which makes her look younger I think. and has the spirit to go with it. I guess it makes a huge difference when you feel young and perky as they describe her at Grey’s. Eric Dane called her very spritley.
I like her hair alot, it reminds me of that character she played in ‘Moonlight Mile,’ & it does make her look younger.

we love her because she’s not a fake celeb like some of those who do chase after the pap.. Ellen is out and about a lot now because they are not shooting. there are also a lot of pictures of Patrick dempsey out and about LA you can see them on flynet and other celeb sites. they are all using this time to enjoy themselves and go out, which gives us more pics. we love her because she’s natural, you feel she’s like you and me not a high high celeb who looks down on people. non of the grey stars are, the whole cast is really unique. all of them. the old and new.

ellen is cool. i have to say i think the real reason she doesn’t get the noms and wins like katherine have less to do with her acting, which is very good, and more to do with the fact that her storyline is poor. it’s almost as if shonda & co. go out of their way to make her unlikable. and shonda said she is meredith grey. don’t get that one. you can be real without the constant whining. it’s such a waste they don’t get mcdreamy and mer together and give them great storylines as a couple. like, marriage, babies, the whole nine yards. i have never seen a show milk a relationship for four seasons, no wonder the fans are writing petitions. it’s pathetic.

She’s become a media ***** of late - at least KH has been doing promotional work for her movie - Ellen just seems to have decided to tag the photographers along for her trip - maybe she’s jealous of all the attention on Katherine lol.
She looks better with the new hair, but then her hair has always looked better than her face - she is very plain & boring with a flat square face & squinty eyes.
People are allowed an opinion & entitled to hate her, just as Ellen fans seem to hate other Greys actresses like KH that are more successful & popular than Ellen.
If you want to fawn over Ellen you have to head to FanForum - but having said that she doesn’t have a FanForum as she’s not popular enough. Patrick Dempsey, Katherine Heigl & Kate Walsh are the only Greys cast with their own forums - which says everything about Ellen’s popularity !!
