Grey’s Anatomy co-stars Ellen Pompeo and Katherine Heigl spend time together off-screen at Pastis restaurant on Friday in New York City.
Ellen and husband Chris Ivery originally was having lunch with her hair colorist Harry Josh. While there, they bumped into Kat and Kat’s mother Nancy.
Ellen and Chris recently attended Night of Diamonds at the Plaza Hotel Grand Ballroom in New York City on Wednesday.

Too bad, EP could not attend KH’s wedding, when even the very low profile SO did. However, EP will definitely attend a photo op at KH’s movie premiere (where noone else showed up but TR). Then follows her to NY attends a non-important fashion event when KH just happens to be in NY promoting her latest movie. EP is following KH around like a orphan puppy dog.
I bet KH paid. EP’s felon husband is stealing all her money.

i love ellen, i think she is absolutely beautiful. Love the blonde hair, makes her look younger. Noticed, ellen is not wearing any form of makeup on her face and she still looks great. Kathrein is beautiful too but she does wear alot of makeup. Between, why all the hatred toward ellen? is it becos of her character? or is it becos she married an ex-felon? i really just don’t get what all this crap is all about.

I lot of people hate EP for many reasons, one being the character she plays on Greys who has to be the most whining irritating characters ever.
Also she is the weakest actress in the cast which doesn’t help.
Fans of hers always claim she keeps a low profile & hates the media etc etc. when that’s a blatant lie !!
She doesn’t do many interviews cos her mouth ran away from her on Punked & she’s been advised to keep it shut since, but she turns up at the opening of an envelope as we have seen recently.

I’m not a particular fan of KH, but I can’t stand EP either.
And #40 - EP is not the STAR of Greys, it is an ensemble show. She gets less screentime than Katherine & TR. She is widely regarded by the public & critics alike as the weakest link. it’s no coincidence that she has never won a top award like Sandra, Chandra & Katherine have. Kate Walsh is the STAR of Private Practice because she is front & centre, the whole show is built around her & she is the public face. On Greys that is not the case, if anything Patrick Dempsey is the STAR.
She only has fans cos her character is the ugly duckling that McDreamy rescues - if she wasn’t paired with Patrick Dempsey she would have no career period.
There is even a new Grey now so they can leave her to drown this season & it would improve the show tenfold.
Ellen is so adorable and gorgeous. her new hair do and color is very pretty. can’t wait to see her this Monday at the VIP Private Armani thingi.
And She is one hell of an actress. the best LEAD out there.

The show is named GREY’s anatomy, after Meredith GREY so EP leads the show, PD is where he is now thanks to her, remember the People Choice Award, he said: “Thank you EP ”
But I agree with the fact that the show is a group thing (a group that Meredith GREY leads, she’s the connection between all the characters) !!!
EP doesn’t look like she’s 38, moreover she don’t need to put a lot of make up and she’s still gorgeous, and her hair suit her!!! WOW!

I was a fan of EP, but I see she is just a big fake LIAR. Her and her felon husband can go to hell.
Come on people don’t rewrite history like you were the USSR communist party. True: PD got is job because of Ellen, also true Pd and and KH are have done things outside GA to make sure that they will have a career afterwards, EP hasn’t done anything. True: EP got her job just because Shonda wanted Meredith to be like the girl in Midnight Mile, EP only has one character in her, that is not enough to even call her an actress, in the higher meaning of the word. She is no SO, CW, or KH. After Grey’s she will be back into oblivion. It’s no wonder her screen time is smaller every season, even her replacement as the title character, CL, already has more screen time this season.
I don’t get that whenever EP gets bashed you blame it on KW fans. KW fans are way nicer then EP fans.

It’s funny that EP’s and KH’s fan are bashing each other, they’re friend in life, I work in a restaurant near the set and they often come here to eat!!!!
And I have to say they are both great,but I do have a preference for EP, she’s always smiling and very polite with the waiters, but the two of them are very funny!!!

I meet them last summer, I was with my mother!!! And I was all “wow you’re Ellen Pompeo, you’re so beautiful, Ilove you, I love Meredith!!!” and She, Chris and my mother were laughing at me, I’m really not the kind to be all over a person but she was so accessible, I couldn’t let my chance pass.

I went to last year’s Emmy’s and since EP arrived kinda late, I was able to talk to her a little-more like yell back and forth, lol. She was so kind and so gracious to her fans. Of all of the GA actors, she was the one who greeted the fans the most, and tried talking to them.
I don’t understand where all the animosity is coming from but whatever, I’m just glad that there are some of you that can corroborate how truly wonderful she is. I love EP to pieces. She’s a fabulous actress, gorgeous woman, and kind-hearted as well. I think it’s sad that the fact that she supported her friend and colleague at her movie premiereis being construed as a selfish act. And hasn’t it occured to the bashers that EP wasn’t able to attend KH’s wedding b/c it was a holiday and she wanted to spend it with her family. Most of the GA cast didn’t make it, so why bash Ellen about it?
