he auditioned with her and she said yes. bot ABC and Rhimes let her make the choice because there has to be chemistry between them.
PD was forgotten. no one even remembered him. poor guy. but he made it back big. its their chemistry that made it a hit. both of them.

The show is named GREY’s anatomy, after Meredith GREY so EP leads the show, PD is where he is now thanks to her, remember the People Choice Award, he said: “Thank you EP ”
But I agree with the fact that the show is a group thing (a group that Meredith GREY leads, she’s the connection between all the characters) !!!

EP doesn’t look like she’s 38, moreover she don’t need to put a lot of make up and she’s still gorgeous, and her hair suit her!!! WOW!

Come on people don’t rewrite history like you were the USSR communist party. True: PD got is job because of Ellen, also true Pd and and KH are have done things outside GA to make sure that they will have a career afterwards, EP hasn’t done anything. True: EP got her job just because Shonda wanted Meredith to be like the girl in Midnight Mile, EP only has one character in her, that is not enough to even call her an actress, in the higher meaning of the word. She is no SO, CW, or KH. After Grey’s she will be back into oblivion. It’s no wonder her screen time is smaller every season, even her replacement as the title character, CL, already has more screen time this season.

People get a life, you don’t like her, it’s ok you don’t have to love everybody, but please stop bashing, having so much animosity toward someone you don’t know, it’s sad!!!

Ellen rocks, she’s discreet, even if GA stop and we don’t see her, she will stay in her fan’s heart!!!!
But I real hope that she will play in movies because she’s someone you get to see.

Ellen is amazing. I love her as an actress. she is really good.
and to the poster who mentioned moonlight mile, bertie knox, the character Ellen played in that move is very different from Meredith. Ellen is really good at changing from one character to another, like she when she did law and order and other show. or her movie roles. she’s really talented. I’m a fan for life, and I do wish she would do movies again.
