Sarah Jessica Parker arrives at the premiere of Smart People held at the Eccles Theatre during the 2008 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday in Park City, Utah. She accessorized her outfit—all from her line Bitten—with Fiorentini + Baker boots, a Balenciaga bag and necklaces by Itay Malkin and Mikimoto.
Accompanying SJP was her actor husband Matthew Broderick and her costars Dennis Quaid and Thomas Haden Church. Rachel Weisz was originally cast opposite Quaid, but she decided to leave the project.
Smart People centers around the relationships between widowed English professor Lawrence Wetherhold (Quaid) and his son and daughter (Ellen Page and Ashton Holmes). The children are students at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where their father is on the faculty. Wetherhold becomes bitter after the death of his wife. He becomes involved in a romantic relationship with Janet (Parker), a doctor who is a former student.
The film is scheduled to be released nationwide on April 11th.

I love Parker and Broderick as a couple, but I must say his wifeis one of those types of women who need the right lighting, tthe right angle, and the right makeup to look stunning that day; it really is always hit and miss for her.
i dont think SJP is really as ugly as everyone says she is. Although that mian picture on the right is horrid. But its just a bad picture of her. She doesnt normally look like that.

only non-acting “actresses” i.e. mko, sarah j p, jenn anniston, kate hudson need to attend sundance to find “interesting” projects yeah rt. to find some material to work on their craft in a low=budget production where some aspiring director with a good script might pick them up….all of these women are one hit wonders ….due to circumstances ie sjp always gets soo much credit for the carrie credit why patricia fields is the brain-child behind all of the looks/styles and what about the writer of the book which the show was based on…jenn anniston…like sjp if it weren’t for friends and good timing another no one would know their name…same for kate hudson…if goldie wasn’t her mom….please if you are going to be an actress please learn how to act and/or try to be interesting….mko go back to tween movies
i think sjp has come back to reality…that she really isn’t great…hince the sex movie…better marriage with matthew…that clothes line is worthless and awful….like her acting ability…go to broadway …her voice..irritating….no ability to use communicate via non-verbal body language…can’t play a part besides something like herself….

Aniston in Friends? SJP showed a fuller range of emotion in one season than Aniston did in ten years….

You don’t know what you are talking about #11. SJP a one hit wonder? She has been around for decades; long before SATC. She is not in Sundance trying to land a role, her film is being featured there.
fyi you are definitely entitled to your opinions but at least write them slightly legible. It might help people to take your thoughts seriously. It makes no sense what you said about Sundance. Actresses and actors go to Sundance to promote films they’ve already done not find projects/directors to work with to work on their craft. Many actors work on smaller films because much of what Hollywood turns out is crap - crap that pays the bills but is not interesting or challenging to them.
