On reuniting with her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn: “When we got back together, it was like no time had passed. We stayed together in two connecting suites, talked and sang Disney songs all night.”

On her strong family ties keeping her grounded: “They are my best friends, anything that goes wrong I go to them. I’m not a wild person at all. You never read about me dancing on a banquette at some club because that never happens. [In high school,] I’d go to fundraisers at Fuddruckers, not drink martini’s at the New York Palace bar.”
On trying to be sexy during Gossip Girl: “In one scene, I was totally falling off the barstool (making out with Chace Crawford). I was trying to be sexy. So I think, ‘what would Britney Spears do?’ So I whished around my hair.”
On not being a fan of what the limelight has done to Britney: “I feel so sad for Britney. I want to see what everyone else would do in her situation, she so talented and misguided. She has lived her whole life in front of an audience.”
On those rumors of on-set strife: “There is always going to be drama on set, but it’s just not true that Leighton [Meester] and I dislike each other.”

Well, what do you know. Fashion has a new darling, someone to dress up. Lookee here, Blake here is the new Mischa Barton, having access to all the latest fashion shows in Paris and free-bees to wear. Agh, it is so exhausting watching all these Hollywood teen starlets get everything for free by simply acting in a show.
wow blake is so cute! i luved her in the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants and i luv her in Gossip Girl!! She is so sweet!! I like leighton as well but mebe not quite as much!!

I agree about her being miscast as Serena Van der Woodsen. I read the whole series and I know Serena, she’s just not Blake. First she’s not tall enough and she’s not stunningly beautiful. See, she’s only blond and can act. Maybe they should have gotten that enigmatic girl in the Gossip Girl book covers.

If you have read the books, you’ll know that she’s so not Serena. She’s not even close.
Serena’s supposed to be like the coolest person on earth. She’s very ground, confident and has a very good heart in the book. Blake’s *acting* just not, mainly because of her 2 and a half year old laugh. And Serena NEVER dresses like a S L U T.
Serena’s more like Sienna Miller or Charlize Theron to me, but of course they’re out of Serena’s age range (though I think Sienna looks so much younger than Blake) Blake’s pretty, but she’s not in the same level of Serena’s gorgeousness, if you know what I mean.
However, IMO, Leighton pulls off Blair perfectly. She’s everything I imagine Blair will be.
This is just my opinion, though.
to all these ******** claiming leighton should be on there cuz shes a better actress & how they hate blake, SHUT THE **** UP!!! leighton is an uglyass thats why she doesnt get covers, blake is a GODDESS<3333! btw you dont even know blake who gave you the right to hate her? did she murder your family? didnt think so jealous freaks!

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, Chace and sophia. You are in no position to be accusing others of being jealous or saying that Leighton’s fans are nuts.
