Death of a human being is sad specially at a young age and no matter how previaged he was. I am really sad I really loved and respected him for his talent. He was one of my favorite actors. RIP Heath

In the last few pics of him that have been out recently, he has really looked different, and not in a good way. Just like he was there but not really there. It is a terrible tragedy for this family. Hopefully the press will let them mourn in peace.

@ bataglio - sorry but I agree with Daniela. He just died and all you have to say about it was suicide or accident? No condolences or best wishes to his family or anything nice to say about the person. Just because he didn’t go to war or directly save anyones life doesn’t mean he deserves any less respect.
You don’t need to cure cancer to earn respect. EVERY person deserves respect, even you.

#25: Even though Heath isn’t inspiring children in a ghetto, his performance in Brokeback Mountain will always be remembered for opening millions of people to the idea of tolerance, and gays as human beings. Are you 14 years old? There are more than the few narrow cliches that you rhymed off in terms of how people can be “respectable” and worthy of mourning. Shame on you!

He had been diagnosed with pneumonia and that’s why he was in NYC instead of in London working on his movie with Terry Gilliam. I adored Heath. He was very sweet and very talented. He had so much to look forward to and he loved being with his daughter. He was scheduled to work with Sean Penn whom he just idolized and he was very admiring and good friends with Terry Gilliam. I am so terribly sorry for his family. He was a lovely man. Truly a lovely person.
If anything, I hope this brings some of the more self-destructive actors and actresses of Hollywood to re-examine their behavior, for them to seek help, and for people to review the over-use perhaps of meds.

I love Heath Ledger so much. I wish he never died and I cry so much just to think of him…today is March 18th, 2009 and it has been a year, two months, and 18 days since he died…I have been keeping track. May God bless him and his family. I hope he is in Heaven with God because he was an angel to me and so many other people. Rest In Peace Heath. I love you *tears up* .

I watched his Batman role, finally. It took me two days and 4 sittings. I became so depressed watching him in this role I had to stop and wait to watch more.
What a terrible loss to all of us and it still breaks my heart.
