OlderHEATH LEDGER DEAD AT 28
Heath Ledger has been found dead in his SoHo apartment in New York City.
He was found in his bed by his housekeeper at 3:35 PM ET, reportedly surrounded by pills.
The 28-year-old actor has a 2-year-old daughter, Matilda Rose, with former fiancee Michelle Williams.
Just this past weekend, Heath was in London filming the Terry Gilliam-directed movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. The last pictures of Heath were taken this past Saturday–he was dressed in a clown costume.
The Australian-born actor was nominated for an Academy Award in 2005 for his role as gay cowboy Ennis in Brokeback Mountain. He also finished filming his role as The Joker in the new Batman film, The Dark Knight.
UPDATE 1: According to The New York Times, “At 3:31 p.m., a masseuse arrived at Apartment 5A in the building for an appointment with Mr. Ledger, the police said. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger unconscious. They shook him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities. The police said they did not suspect foul play. Officials said pills were found near the body.”
UPDATE 2: Heath was found in his bed, naked and face down. There were prescription bottles left uncovered near the deceased–prescription sleeping medication.

This is just sad, when i read about it here i ouldn’t believe it. I’m from spain, and here the notice has also been heard. It is just sadm he was such a great actor, he seemed to be really nice, and he had a daughter. Poor little girl, and poor Michelle, she has to take care of their child alone, poor family. Rest in peace Heath, young man, all my prayers are with his faimly, hope the receive all the kindness heath gave as with his acting.
If he killed himself, i dont understand why people do that, you must be really brave to kill yourself, but you must be a little coward for not wanting to live anymore.

When I heard that Heath Ledger had died, I was shocked, as I had never heard any stories about him being involved with drugs. I was even more shocked, as nobody had been expecting him to die at any point. What’s evebn more shocking was that he was 28 years old, which was young. More shocking that is that he has a two year old daughter, and she will grow up without her father. No child should have to go through that

that day, i saw the news, i saw that shocking title.. ‘heath ledger was found dead this afternoon in his apartment in manhattan’ i just started to cry, i repeat all the time ‘i can’t believe it, you have to be kidding me, holy ****! i loved that actor’ and too much more, i said too much things about his death, i was so sad, i’m so sad! i still can’t assimilate it! my condolences go out to his family (i know, they never going to read it, but i say that from heart) today, he died 8 days ago.. and i don’t know. i really can’t believe it! poor little mathilda! she is soo little! she is only 2! and michelle, ex heath’s girlfriend is so devasted! i saw recent photos! and jake gyllenhaal, he is so sad and devasted too, they were best friends with heath! and jake is mathilda’s godfather! oh my god, he was so young! he was a great actor, an i’m sure an excelent person too! AND WE HAS SOOO HOOOT :( I LOVE YOU HEATH, YOU ARE ALWAYS WITH US! REST IN PEACE SWEETY!
