Bennifer: More House Hunting!
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck (sans daughter Violet) continue to shop around for new houses in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
Jen wore a parajumpers (PJS) jacket from an elite special aerial rescue team with US Air Force that specializes in recovery and medical treatment of personnel in humanitarian and combat environments. Pararescue persons live up to their motto,”That Others May Live” (sewn onto the jacket patch).

They rarely seem happy to be together. She looks happier when she’s out with the little violet and without him.

Rumors of problems are getting louder about these two, Jen needs to just get it over with, she is only making it worse on herself staying in this relationship, Ben is a loser and a jerk, she doesn’t need him. She divorced once, no shame in doing it again if you need to.
OMG, do they look pathetic. They are in need of some serious intervention. He looks like he is on crack. Jen did mention crack and Ben’s name at the same time, was it a subliminal message??? These two got a whole lot of nothing going on, no chemistry whatsoever, whatever!!!!!
The only time either of them looks remotely happy is when they are alone with their daughter. They always look totally miserable when they are together….they just have no chemistry and I doubt the marriage will last. They obviously are together only for the sake of Violet.
Maybe they’re down because of Heath Ledger. No idea if they knew him personally, but it wouldn’t be surprising.
These two are like Gwynneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, those two always look miserable too, ofcourse they are hardly photographed together anyway.
I’m surprised that with all the paparazzi following them everywhere they go, they sure are not masking the fact that they are miserable together, you’d think that they would atleast pretend to be happy just to get people to think things are okay. But no, they look miserable all the time and show the world everytime they are photographed just how miserable they are to be with each other. If Heath Ledger’s death teaches them anything it’s that life is too short, you might as well be happy while you’re living even if it means ending a marriage to find true happiness.

#8 - What has he done lately?: … Hmmm… let’s think. Heard of the little film “Gone Baby Gone” ? Ben co-wrote and directed. And you know what? It was actually pretty brilliant - a shared opinion by many.
And what’s with everyone dogging there appearance? I commend Jennifer and Ben for looking… OH WAIT - NORMAL. Regardless if they have problems in their relationship or not (which is… oh wait again, NORMAL!!), they seem to have found a realistic outlook on life. A separation of work and personal living. They know the difference. It’s sure a shame many of you sure as hell don’t. Why is image so important to everyone rather than character? How many smiling celebrity couples end it weeks later…? Life is not sunshine in a bottle just because you’re “rich and famous.” Besides if you notice, they seem to be pissed off that the Papps have invited themselves on their house hunting venture.
Do we even know that this house is for both of them? Maybe it’s just for one of them - I would think because of Violet the other would still want a say in the new house.

Gone Baby Gone tanked, I don’t care if it was considered a “critical success”, Nobody saw it. Period.
Ben is miserable and he’s making everyone around him miserable too, Jen is a happy person she always has been, the fact that he’s making her life miserable proves what a jerk he truly is.
If and when these two split up, I promise you this, Ben will be so hated that he will probably never be able to act in a movie again let alone direct one, producers will steer clear of him for fear that they will lose money. Jen on the other hand will be fine.

Why would they act so miserable when they are together? That makes no sense. There is a big difference between just not smiling and looking somewhat normal and looking very very miserable and unhappy as they do.
Whenever she’s out with Violet she can’t stop smiling. She is out with Violet almost everyday and is always happy. Never upset with the paps. Now Ben is always unhappy with the paps.
And she was just out with Violet this weekend and again 2 days ago and her grandmother was dead and buried Saturday and she was in LA, not at the funeral.
They are soul mates. They are so like minded. They belong together. Both of so “un-hollywood”. They make a beautiful couple and together made a gorgeous little girl who they love and adore and are bringing her up with the same family values they grew up with. Trust and believe.

Very interesting.
I mean look it’s beyond annoying to have the paps all up in your business but once in awhile they catch you being yourself. You never even see any relaxed, enjoyable moments between them. They don’t even look at each other and smile or hold hands. It’s odd . When Ben went on Larry King I knew then something was up because he was just misery, no affect and had a chip on his shoulder. And yeah her grandmother died and what she didn’t go?

Walking the red carpet is part of the job. That’s the business they are in, they are actors. OK. Not walking the RC makes no difference to me but they are a married couple, and this pretence of not being together seems silly. Jen walked the RC with Scott when she was married to him, and Ben always walked the RC with his previous ladies. Well if this is how they can keep the marriage together then hey do what you need to do. Casey and his wife have no problem being on the RC together. Ben and Jen are not even seen out to dinner and things like most other couples, you see them with Violet.
ben has great family values. He is extremely close to his mother and brother and wanted that baby very much. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again-nobody in hollywood HAS to get married He married her because he loved her and no other reason. Why doesn’t Brad marry Angie? Why doesn’t HAllie marry the model guy? WHy doesn’t Naomi marry Liev? Becuase in Hollywood they don’t have to get married. Violet was no accident!

Yes Ben wanted the baby, you can see how much he loves Violet.
Agree that he did not have to marry Jen, he wanted to, and he did.
Casey and Summer did not marry for for 2+ years after their first child was born, and then they did.
Whether to marry or not is up to the people involved, not anyone else. It makes no difference to me because it is not my business. With all the divorces that happen with celebs they are probably better of most of the time not marrying for years if then.
But, and here is my but, Ben does not look very happy with Jen. I saw pixs of him in DC by himself doing research for his next film just last week and he looked as happy as he could be, even withthe paps. Now I know that a pix does not tell the whole story or even the true story but Ben was frowning in a number of pixs with Jen in NYC over the last few months. He did smile all the time with Violet.
Ben seems very moody to me and appears to be difficult to deal with at times. Jen probably has bent over backwards to please him.
The great conspiracy because pictures show exactly what’s going on or not going on with them. lol. If people were actually interested in them they’d be all over the tabloids because of photo’s like this. These aren’t singular. Most of their photo’s in the past 1.5 yrs have looked like this. There were many pictures of them having dinner in New York when they were living there. If you’re a fan of either one of these two, which judjing from the comments I’m thinking most of you are not, the fan websites have plenty of pictures of this family taken by random people, not papparazzi, with their cell phones and then posting it on their personal blogs. So happy pictures exist, you have to search for them, you will not find them if they are taken by papparazzi and purchased by gossip blogs like this. Remember folks, Jared is an Alias fan, he likes Jen it’s Ben he does not like for some reason, that’s becoming more and more obvious everytime he posts pictures of them, he just lets us do all the dirty work for him with our posts, right Jared? How can anyone control what the taboids decide to print? The only reason the tabs rag on Brad and Angelina so much is because whiny JenA has played the “poor little me” card for years over a childless divorce that happened in 2005 and this is 2008. Other couples who just live their lives with their kids are not subjected to all the cra* and lies that are printed about Brad and Angelina and none of it has been proved to be true, none of it. Brad and Angelina walk the RC together supporting each other’s projects like most other couples, what are they doing that is so wrong? They do not hang out in celeb hotspots. Angelina didn’t get an Oscar nom, it happens, neither did Sean Penn or Denzel or Kiera or Amy Adams or James McA. Did the tab war on Brad and Angelina cause these other people I just listed not to get noms? Angelina has an Oscar and 3 Sags. Both she and Brad say their family is their main priority, what could be more normal than that?
Back to this subject. I am not saying anything negative about anyone like you are. I am just expressing my observations. Ben is like a grumpy old man, he should be happy, his career is back on track, he has a good life. You would not know that by the way Ben usually appears when he is with Jen. Well #66 *sigh* perhaps in my next life I’ll be househunting like them but in this life, I love and prefer the coziness of an apartment. Houses always seem so cold to me. Back to Ben and Jen, they just like they could care less that they are as fortunate as they are. And what’s up with them both looking super gaunt? They are so very lucky in a world where most people get crushed and never live the dream of owning a house and having a beautiful baby. They are living the American Dream at least pretend for the rest of us that you are DELIGHTED and they can just ignore the paps.:-)

I doubt that being a “tabloid victim” was the reason she did not get nominated. Cate B is much loved and got 2 noms, like Leo last year.
Few people saw AMH and poor box office often figures in Oscar noms, plus the subject of the movie made many people uncomfortable.
Doubt that Angie is flipping out about this, she has an Oscar and 3 Sags and 2 GG’s already, which she had given to her mom. She has four kids 6 and under and Brad keeping her pretty busy.

I don’t agree with you. I am a long time Ben fan. Ben does not appear happy in most pixs taken of him these days.
Back in the day when Ben was with GP he frowned (well to be truthful they both did, GP is not and has never been a very happy person to me). Ben was very serious about GP, but she recently said in an interview that she really didn’t care much for anyone she had a relationship with in her ten years in show business before she met ChrisM. GP is a bit*h, plain and simple.
The most Ben ever smiled was with JLo. But they did everything to excess. However JLo is a lady, she congratulated them upon Violet’s birth, which is what a person with good manners does.
Ben looks happiest these days(when not with Violet) when he is with Casey or Matt. JMO

Well, if you are talking about the ones where she was laughing and cupping her (violets) face, she was trying to put her hand over Violets face in the photos to shield her. Obviously she was laughing with Violet, trying to make a joke of it, probably to not freak her out. THe other pics she had security with her to just go from the grocery store to the car. Violet was laughing, and I think it would be hard not to smile when you are with that child, but she obviously wasn’t being a media ho about the paps she was getting protection from them, and didn’t speak to them when spoken to unlike other celebs.

We can speculate until the cows come home but there’s no way we can possibly say one way or the other that the marriage is coming to an end by observing these photos. However, I will say that from seeing all the photos over the last few months, one thing is for sure, Garner puts on the smiley face when with Violet only but when joined by Affleck, she turns the smiles into scowls to match his as if she’s trying to please his hatred for the paps. My feeling is there are issues between them because of this. It’s hard to believe that prior to the trip to NYC, they were always lovey-dovey in public and now suddenly they have changed their demeanor when together in the public eye. If their strategy is to take the relationship and feelings for one another to a new level by making it ultra private then it’s working against them in that it’s causing rumors to fly which is not a good thing. JMHO.

When they were first together you NEVER saw them together AT ALL!! The Boston Red Sox game was the first public shot and they had been together for a while.
Stop making up s***. They found out the paps could get shots of them kissing and it would just make them follow them more, so after a few photos of them acting natural together they now keep far away from each other in public and don’t feed the frenzy.

I saw his interview with Larry King recently and Larry asked if marriage and family were contributing to his recent success and Ben’s answer was pretty much no. He stated he wasn’s sure if it was a coincidence that the two, his success and finding a family, had anything to do with one another. I think that’s sad and a shame, and if I were Garner I would be heartbroken.

Commenting late but whatever….speaking as an observer, it looks like Ben & Jen are not very happy together. And also strictly as an observer, you have to wonder if they’ve both got what they deserved. Ben was said to have had a hand in her divorce from Scott Foley because of a hookup on the Daredevil set (rumor, who knows for sure?). The same Ben was said to have had more than a hand in her split from Michael Vartan. The man apparently has no problem going after other men’s women (whether he happens to be with someone else or not at the time) and Jennifer didn’t seem to lose sleep over cheating on her husband/boyfriend with him. I used to be a Gartan shipper but having seen what Ben & Jen have done to other people over the years I think Vartan is far better off without her. Ben & Jen deserve each other….
