OlderAmy Winehouse Finally Says “Yes” to Rehab
Amy Winehouse entered a rehabilitation clinic Thursday, her record label Universal Music Group said. Hallelujah!
The 24-year-old British singer was seen stopping off at the Garden cafe in Regents Park to use the potty before heading to rehab.
Amy has been under fire lately for her ongoing battle against drug addiction. The most recent, damning evidence was the video of Winehouse smoking crack.
Her reps released this statement: “Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors. She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards. … Amy entered the facility by mutual agreement and continues to receive the full support of all concerned.”
