American Idol sweetheart Carrie Underwood couldn’t be sweeter in her latest “All-American Girl” music video. It’s so cute, clean and super fun!
The 24-year-old singer puts on at least 25 different hats within the video including painter, firefighter, doctor, chef, pageant queen, Olympic swimmer, nurse, waitress, police officer, photographer, bride, cowgirl, football player, soldier, flight attendant, cheerleader, sorority girl, newscaster, welder, teacher, graduate, seamstress, mother, ballerina, President of the U.S., veterinarian, chemist and astronaut.
Carrie even plays herself from her “Before He Cheats” music video!

Loved this video. It shows another side of carrie. If anyone who’s bashing the video knows anything about country music, it’s meant o be corny. And how is she a faith wannabe? If you mean faith’s “the way you love me” video, give me a break. Carrie portraying a nurse and waitress doesn’t make her a “wannabe. I thought the video was cute and for some reason I cracked up when she was the beauty queen and mouthed the words “oh my god”… reminds me of miss congeniality (hope that dosen’t make her a sandra bullock wanna be now)
Reminds me of that Faith Hill video from about 5 years ago….The Way You Love Me (or whatever the name is). This must be from the same producer.

This video looks cheap! It probably had a budget of about 1200 bucks. And it’s a rip off of Faith Hill’s “The Way You Love Me”. I wish all the American Idiots would just go away!

Too stiff? What do ya mean? I think she looks cute in all those costumes. Carrie appeared to be having a lot of fun during the filming of the clip, and if ya don’t like it, don’t watch it. And whoever said she’s copying Faith Hill, look at the numbers. Carrie wore 29 costumes in her video, while Faith wore about 8 or 9.

I love how it promotes women in general– ie- the different professions, all of whom are beautiful, wonderful,perfect All American Girls. Very cute!

littlejeannie, Faith Hill is gorgeous and is an extremly talented singer and performer. Time does not stand still, and in 14 short years Carrie will be 40 years old and probably people will be calling her a has-been like you called Faith Hill. Not nice!

The video is refreshing and a breath of fresh air showing off the funny side of Underwood. There are plenty of hidden messages in this video, i.e. her dog Ace is in the video and she wanted to be a veterinarian; newscaster with her mass communication degree; she was a beauty queen runner-up in college; she belonged to a sorority; she was a waitress, her fantasy football team quarterback is Tom Brady #12; the Before He Cheats spinoff and finally she was one of the co-writers…the song is about a husband and wife wanting a baby boy. Carrie is a third child (all girls)…the song is autobiographical. Did I miss anything? This is just a clean, fresh, fun video. Way to go Carrie!!!!!
This video shows a lighter side of an artist–put any other artist doing the same thing and it would still be enjoyable. People love Carrie so of course they are going to LOVE the video. As for the stiff comments, Carrie was thrust into the spotlight from a rural town in Oklahoma–a small town girl and she still acts like it. I, for one, would rather see her be a little “stiff” then “loose” like some other artists–won’t mention any names. Carrie is a beautiful girl(and gracious when met in person) with a high degree of talent. I don’t think those are arguable points. Music, like anything, is subjective.
