OlderDaniel Craig Seeks His ‘Quantum of Solace’
Daniel Craig is sandwiched between his Bond girls Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton at a photocall for the 22nd James Bond film Quantum of Solace at London’s Pinewood Studios on Thursday.
“It has grown on me,” Craig told reporters of the new title. “It doesn’t trip off the tongue. But why should it?”
Added Craig about his character, “[Bond] is looking for his quantum of solace. He wants his closure… He had his heart broken at the end of the last movie and that certainly is a spur for him in this one… I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t revenge in his heart. But it’s more than that. That spurs him on, but that’s not what the movie is. It’s not a revenge movie. It’s about him figuring a few things out.”
Quantum Of Solace is due out Nov. 7. Mark your 007 calendars!

As far as the new Bond girls go, personally I find the move away from the stereotypical pinup girl to be refreshing. What I’m more interested in is whether or not these two ladies can act.

Sean Connery is the only BOND! Daniel Craig looks just as old as Connery so why is he in the role? I think we need a fresh face who is younger and much more believable then the Craigmeister!

I’m sorry but Daniel Craig reminds me so much of Sean Connery. They have the same dimples. Very Sexy. Pierce Brosnan was too stiff and don’t get me started on the toupee wearing Roger Moore.

I just dont like him in Bond. He was really good in Invasion (the bad remake with nicole kidman) though. I admit he plays an emotionless replica of a human being with a monotonic voice very well. It was almost as if the part was made for him specially, and at times I was convinced he wasn’t acting at all.
