OlderCassie is a Pepsi Smash Hit
Cassie attends the Pepsi Smash relaunch party at Pasha nightclub on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on Thursday night.
Earlier this month, the 21-year-old R&B songstress did an interview for Billboard about her as-yet-untitled sophomore album, which is set to be released on May 20.
“I guess I grew up a lot but I’m still in essence the same person,” Cassie says. “Lots has changed in my life, stuff that has made me think about things differently. I’m more vulnerable and you can hear my vocals better this time around. There’s real emotion and a much realer connection with my fans.”
Although a first single hasn’t been released, Cassie assures it will be “a club record — something fun and danceable.”

Thought her voice was okay ’til I heard her sing live. Yikes!!
She is pretty. Clearly modeling is her strong point. She does not have the voice for singing (without a lot of help from tech)
