OlderAshley Tisdale to Film at Auckland Manor
Ashley Tisdale and her family have lunch at Marmalade Cafe in Sherman Oaks, Calif. on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
Filming for Tizz’s forthcoming $60 million movie, They Came From Upstairs, will start production TOMORROW until April 18, according to The New Zealand Herald.
Ashley, 22, is set off to join the rest of the cast and crew later this week and start shooting scenes at a restored West Auckland manor house.
According to the paper, “Yesterday, crew were putting the finishing touches to the set, a two-story, 22-room manor that presides over 5.5ha of rolling fields. The property was valued at $3m last October. The Herald on Sunday understands film-makers spent $700,000 restoring the house, which was shifted from Remuera in 1997. Then known as Plumley Manor, it has been a backpackers and a brothel. The owners, a couple with four children, will live in a cottage on site during filming. Cast will not stay on site.”

Ashley and Jared Murillo went shopping at the Beverly Center after the above pictures were taken. They then went to a Christian Louboutin store where Ashley bought a pair of shoes.
I didn’t realize that Ashley companion was Jared. At one point, I asked Ashley if he was Wesley and she just laughed and said no. I asked Jared what his name was and he said I could find out in the Internet. This was the first time I’d photographed them together. What a cute couple!

I see lots of people calling her beautfiul and perfect. She is attractive, I’ll give her that, but I don’t see what’s so special about this girl. Put her in any old high school, and you wouldn’t be able to pick her out from the rest of the crowd, that’s how ordinary she is. She’s pretty in the mainstream way, as in she harbors the same look every other teenager seems to have these days, which is terribly sad considering she’s not even a teenager, but she doesn’t do anything to stand apart from the crowd.
Her style is mainstream as well (ugg boots with sweatpants a sweatshirt and/or a tanktop) she dresses the same way every time I see her, and it’s not even unique. Her music is the same: ‘i’m-so-sexy-guys-wanna-do-me, girls-wanna-be-me, im-in-love, now-im-not, boy-you-better-be-good-to-me, im-just-trying-to-find-myself’ crap that everybody else does. Nothing special, nothing different, just same old, same old.
I sometimes can’t help but wonder if this girl has a personality or if she’s who the general public want her to be. When did we suddenly start praising girls for being exactly alike? Why is it that we shun people who are different and praise those who are exactly what we want them to be? I prefer people who are individuals, who don’t act based on how OTHERS want them to do, but act based on what THEY want to do. The minute this girl starts to act as an individual, instead of a sheep, is the minute I will gain some respect for her.
