New parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden head to her manager/talent agent Benny Medina’s house to celebrate his 50th birthday in Los Angeles on Friday.
Looks like Nicole is already back in shape, showing off her post-pregnancy body in a black hip-hugging dress.
Grandfather Lionel Richie, 58, was also seen at the party with his girlfriend.
Earlier in the day, Joel, 28, and Nicole, 26, were spotted stocking up on nursing supplies at The Pump Station earlier in the day.
Daughter Harlow Madden turned two-weeks-old yesterday.

she looks cute, but we all know she’ll be back to being supper skinny in couple months, and then blame it one being busy, and not taking care of herself.
Please don’t do this! Its very unrealistic that she ’shed her baby weight’ in two short weeks!!!!!! She does look nice, but please realize that she is wearing black and probably has some sort of body shaping undergarment on. It makes us normal women look horrible to put these unrealistic expectations on post-partum looks.
Nursing is the best way to help lose pregnancy weight. I hope she can see how gorgeous she looks right now.

Of course she looks normal now because she was dangerously below her normal weight when she became preganant. So people don’t go thinking about what she did to loose her weight because Miss Richey was borderline anorexic when she became pregnant therefore when she had her baby, yes, she looks as if she has trimmed the fat but there was no fat to begin with to trim.
SO much better than that ugly stick-skinny body of hers pre-pregnancy.

The only reason she looks “in shape” is because that pregnancy brought her to a normal, healthy weight. She’s just normal now and looking the best I’ve seen her in a while because she’s healthy. That baby was a blessing and probably improved her health.

What everyone knows her for is being Paris’ sidekick in their foolishness or starving herself stick thin, or walking around holywood endlessly shopping and lunching and clubbing. She has had rough times in the past. I can’t remember how many times her pictures were splashed on those tabloid magazines . EVerytime I lined up at the grocery cashier toll, horrible news are headlined about her. Maybe that baby she carried for 9 months is her ticket to REDEMPTION . Also noted that she has been involved in childrens charities with her husband.

I read somewhere that mothers are blessed by someone up there. Mothers are specials because they are given responsibility to take care of that growing human being inside you, and you are charged to take care of that life and to protect that life with every breath you take.

she’s normal weight now after she gave birth because she used to be soo skinny..the baby weight basically put her back up to normalness
To Sally.. who said it’s unrealistic that she shed her pregnancy pounds in 2 weeks. It’s not unrealistic. I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight 2 weeks after my son’s birth. It happens. Breastfeeding generally helps in that too, and considering she is.. that could be a factor in her look. Personally, I think she looks fantastic!

Hey the same for me. I lost weight so fast after my first and 2nd child it was crazy. I was thin to begin with.
Took me longer after my 3rd child to loose the extra 12 lbs (candy), besides baby ’s weight. She looks great.
She only had her baby two weeks ago, so that’s really not healthy!

Nic is fine and ITA., some women shed pounds quickly after birth.
He needs to lose weight. Isn’t he supposed to be some sort of rocker, okay not a great one, but at least a cheap one. At 58 Bruce Springsteen is much thinner than him.
Your uterus takes longer than that to shrink back to original size, like a month-she’s probably wrapped like a mummy under that dress. You actually are supposed to use some sort of suppression garment after pregnancy to help the shrinking process along. (I have twins and did it) It helps your stomach tremendously. But I’m sure she will return to anorexia rapidly.
She looked great preggers and she looks heathly now, I hope she does not revert back to super skinny that was a horrid look.

I think she looks really good. She really didn’t get too heavy during her pregnancy, so it looks like she is fine right where she is weight wise. Some women can shed the weight quick and some, it takes time. It was like that with my sisters. 1 lost weight quick and without really trying and the other two, it took some time.

I think she looks great. I just don’t get how celebrities talk about how much they can’t wait to be parents and can’t wait to see their babies then as soon as they have the baby, they go out right away. It’s only been 2 weeks. Spend quality time with the kid. I’m sure it wasn’t a long night out but geez.

She wasn’t chunky to begin with. So many women are, and then overeat during pregnancy because they think they can, and then are stunned that after only about 12 pounds leaves with birthgiving, they are fat. Sorry, honey, it’s not just pregnancy!!
Nicole was in shape beforehand, and didn’t overeat, but was nutritionally sensible. Also she remained active. It makes perfect sense that she would not be a hippo after pregnancy.

She was not dangerously below a normal weight or borderline anorexic when she got pregnant. She had already returned to a healthy weight. She could have gained maybe 3-5 pounds more, and been perfect. But she was already healthy and strong.
The suburban housewife wanted her to be as chunky as they are to make themselves feel better (see Sally’s post) but she was already back from scary skinny long before pregnancy.

God……..nicoleloonies here. I like her as much as. Anyone else on this site but it’s not the end of the world If somebody doesn’t like her as much as you do. Everyone can like whoever they want . Just because people at just jared like her doesn’t mean everyone has to.
with that being said…I’m glad her and the baby are okay! She looks great and I think it is a little too soon for her to be going out , but chances are that the baby is probably slepping anyways:)

Nicole can do whatever she does with her body. I’m more concerned for baby girls with anorexic moms. Like Angelina saying her baby was a Blob. Those little ones need food and nutrition to grow, and it will be SICK if the size zeros make their daughters psychos because of their weight issues. They won’t develop healthy minds or bodies if the mom obsesses about their daughters’ baby fat! A mom that does that IS a zero.
