Anna Paquin works her blonde new do at the 2008 Directors Guild Awards (DGA) Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel on Saturday in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Ms. Paquin, 25, helped host Carl Reiner present Betram Van Munster (The Amazing Race) with the Outstanding Directorial award for Reality Programs.
Be on the look-out tonight for Anna at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards. She’s presenting and was nominated for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries” for her role as Elaine Goodale in HBO’s Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.

She’s been getting a lot of unwanted hate because of her teeth. So many superficial people.
She needs to like get braces or something to straighten her front 2 teeth!

Her teeth are just fine. She has that same gap-tooth sexy smile that Lauren Hutton does. If you took away that trademark, she’d look just like everyone else who doesn’t appreciate their own natural beauty . . .
Fun to see her all grown up. I remember when she got up onstage at the Academy Awards, was like 11 years old or something, and she just looked at the audience and hyperventilated into the microphone for about 2 minutes. The audience giggled along with her and waited for her to catch her breath and even then she could barely do it. Precious.

Dear god she’s ugly!
She is a fantastic actress (totally underrated) and seems very intelligent and classy. I prefer her with her natural brown hair, but I know she did the blonde for a role and she still looks gorgeous. Thank god there are some young actresses in Hollywood who are actually ACTRESSES and not just dumb STARLETS.

tooth decay? nah, she probably just ate something before going on stage and didn’t realize anything got stuck. I seriously doubt she’d let her teeth rot when she’s an actress. it’s sad how so many of you only look for the worst in people just to feel superior. she’s a beautiful girl and a great actress and the nominations and awards she’s won prove that.
She needs to fix those rotting teeth. yuck!

She really is underrated as an actress now. I hope she gets back into the major movie roles. I’ve always thought she was great and she’s very pretty.
