Jake Gyllenhaal Remembers Heath Ledger
Jake Gyllenhaal stops to grab a cup of coffee in Brentwood, Calif. on Sunday morning.
Earlier this weekend, Jake, 27, was spotted hiking at a Los Angeles park with girlfriend Reese Witherspoon and her two kids, Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4. It was the first sighting of the star since his Brokeback costar Heath Ledger’s passing.
It was reported last week that Jake was in New Mexico shooting his new film, Brothers. Presumably, he flew back home recently to attend the private memorial service for Heath, which was attended by his close family and friends.
Jake is the godfather of Heath and Michelle Williams 2-year-old daughter Matilda.

Jake/Kirsten they got something, but now is over…….or not. Who knows.
Hey, at the risk of speculation I would say he is sure through with her. Perhaps she is not over him. But I strongly doubt that straight, clean-living, nice, upstanding, sensible Jakeypoo would want Kirsten Basketcase back in his life. La Whitherspoonful is not only cleaner, nicer, more upstanding but much much much richer. What’s not to like, eh?
Maybe Jake zodiak sign Saggitarius ( me too!!! ) compares with Reeses, maybe this two made perfect chemistry, who knows, we must ask them!!! But i think you are right Jannie, Kirsten is still in crushed in him. To be honest i dont know what he has seen in her, but after i seen some pictures of them, i must say they were a really quite couple.

Kirsten is responsible for her own issues and no one else is to blame if she took drugs or is in rehab. That is her doing not Jake’s.

No mention of Jakeypoo at the memorial service. If he had been there, I think it would have been mentioned. By the way, Michelle seems to have forgotten her sorrow pretty well when she got into the water. The water makes everybody happy, even giddy. Of course.

Jake Gyllenhaal, who co-starred with Ledger in the critically-acclaimed gay cowboy movie “Brokeback Mountain” was this week reported to be planning to attend the funeral but has not yet been seen in Perth.
Better show up, Jakey, or people will think you are not a good friend. And you better get photographed there for proof. Get going, Jakey. You don’t have much time.
Now, the only thing Jake as godfather can do is help Matilda. Heath is gone unfortunately…

i like jake but i have one question.. they had a memorial service in la and ny but he didnt attend any of them and his in la and then today his final farewell in australia and he still didnt attend.. dont u think thats strange.. am just saying.. if thats his besfriend.. he should have attended at least one…

I suppose if somebody said you weren’t very good at your profession you’d adore them in return? Jannie loves detective shows, like NYPD blue or CSI New York, so she like to investigate, so keep going Jannie!!!
