He might well have taken time off to take care of his own affairs, or do something else. You have no proof that his “time off” (he might just not be needed right now for the movie) has anything to do with Heath. Sheer idiotic speculation on your part.

OK Jannie…let’s talk about your “facts”

1. Jake has said nothing about Heath’s death. How does this actually “prove” that they weren’t friends? No-one is saying they were “best” friends at the time of Heath’s death. We all know friendships wax and wane. But on some level they were friends. Why oh why is that so hard for you to stomache???

2. Exactly….”as far as we knew”. These are your words Jannie…and what they indicate is that we don’t know “everything” about either guy…we can only go by “as far as we knew”. Therefore obviously there is a lot we don’t know about them or their friendship, so you have in effect just contradicted yourself. Yes, there is a lot we don’t know about them. So you Jannie, can argue from that, that they weren’t friends….and we can equally argue that they were.

3.Once again you say “as far as we know”. Very good use of a disclaimer you got going there Jannie. Btw, how do you REALLY know he paid no attention to Matilda? You are demanding that we prove otherwise but everything you state as facts are followed closely by “as far as we know”. So you can’t really prove anything either.

I have one question for you. Why is it SO distasteful to you that these 2 guys were “friends”? Don’t forget that friendship is subjective and it is also in the eyes of the beholder. Do you hate Heath that much or idol worship Jake that much? Pray tell!

I admit that if Jake has committed suicide out of grief, as some of you would easily believe, then that would explain his continued silence. But at least he could have left a note before, right? He could have said, “My dear and devoted friend Heath’s tragic demise has so moved me to the depths of my bowels that after relieving myself, I have decided to end it all and join Heathy, my dear dear friend, in the hereafter.” Now that would have been what he should have done, right?
