I’ve said it before, and I’ll clearly say it again. Nikki rocks my socks, she’s an inspiration, not because of what she does or does not look like, but because she’s a confident, grounded, unfailingly HAPPY girl. Hollywood could use a few more like her. Preferably one for every vain, stupid vag-flashing actress out there.

Nikki looking fabulous as always - that shade of blue is fantastic, and you can clearly see that the loves the way she looks. So for me, that’s all that matters. I respect those that speak intelligently about health and weight - but for the twelve year olds who feel the need to hate on a beautiful and talented actress, please calm your little typing fingers down enough to use actual words and correct phrasing. I know this isn’t necessarily the place to come for intelligent conversation, but as an educator this is all I ask. I am so proud to be a Nikki Blonsky (and hairspray cast!) fan - I’m glad that the acting community has embraced her in her first fantastic film role.

Bellie, I get it. I appreciate that you’re looking out for her health, and I don’t think any of us fans want her to be unhealthy. She has said in interviews that if she wants to lose weight, she will - but she’s happy where she is. So I’m happy. I’m not arguing with you, I’m just saying that she is content, and I think she looks nice, and that’s all that matters to me. Her life, her decision.

And I think you should keep your stupid comments to yourself Metheuseus. Seriously, who are you to say what she can and can’t wear? That girl could rock a potato sack.

I think it’s you that needs your head examined not Nikki. Every interview she has ever given has conveyed how down to earth and level-headed she is, she’s won the respect of her peers, elders and the critics…not something that many other nineteen year old actresses can say.

Beyond saying fashion and beauty are in the eyes of the beholder I’m not going to say what I think about your opinion of Nikki’s appearance…it wouldn’t be worth the effort.

#113, I agree that people make mistakes, and have to move on. But… I don’t understand what possible relevance that whole comment has to this thread. This is about Nikki attending the SAG awards, nothing at all to do with Vanessa. She wasn’t even there. And I have read most of the comments on this thread, and I don’t recall anyone putting Vanessa down for her n ude photo scandal. So, what was your point?

Anyway, I can’t wait to see what projects Nikki lands after the writer’s strike is over, now that she has the GG and CCA cred behind her!

btw - the pics of Nikki with Angelina are total WIN! Angie looks so thrilled to meet her! lol! Just like she and Brad looked so happy for her at CCAs! Of course, anyone who’s anyone loves Nikki!
