Ryan Gosling @ SAG Awards 2008
Ryan Gosling walks the red carpet at the 2008 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday in Los Angeles.
Gosling wore a black ribbon on his lapel to honor the memory of fellow actor Heath Ledger.
Accompanying Ryan on the red carpet was his older sister, Mandi.
Gosling was also nominated in the “Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role” category for his role in Lars and the Real Girl. There Will Be Blood’s Daniel Day-Lewis took home the prize.

Ryan Gosling was the best dressed of the night. And I respect him even more than I already did for honoring Heath Ledger with a subtle black ribbon. Thank you, Ryan.
Love Ryan, but, I hate, I know that’s a strong word, the plaid shirt with such a nice looking suit!! It just looks all wrong. But the ribbon for his friend, Heath, was a beautiful gesture.

i love how some of you speak as if you know anything personal about these celebs… and best dressed? the pants are too long, you don’t crease flat fronts, and it screams of trying too hard to look like he doesn’t. i’m not saying he isn’t a good actor and really cute, though…
