oh, NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not going to be on the best dress list for her AGAIN. Keep trying Sandra come on.
Lovely, it suits her perfectly!
I think she looks fantastic! I love the dress.
Love the colours, love the overall shape but, what’s with the sticking out bow???
I totally agree, without the bow it would have been perfect! But Sandra is still gorgeous
The dress is fug, but it oddly suits her.
the bow is there because as the caption says, it is a couture version of a traditional korean dress…and hanboks have some sort of “bow” there…
Sandra Oh My GOD What Were You Thinking?!!
isn’t this some sort of a take of traditional Korean dress?
read the above caption, guys — “couture version of a hanbok” google image search “hanbok” and y’all will get why her dress is the way it is.
the dress is a little unusual but also pretty. it’s the most interesting-looking hanbok i’ve seen
This broad can’t dress! Why? Why? Why???
she looks like a big present… don’t these people have fashion consultants… and even if the do and they choose this… don’t they have some kind of sense of taste that sais…” hey, I”m going to look like a gigantic present”
She’s always so awesome on the red carpet… she blew it this time.
I LOVE THIS ACTRESS AND SHE HAS A PHENOMINAL BODY, BUT…………….WAS SHE JOKING WITH THIS DRESS?!?!?!!!
OH Sandra!!!!!!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!? I really don’t think she thought this one through.
In the famous Grey’s anatomy way, I have just one question: Seriously??? SERIOUSLY??????
Love her dress.
Seriously??! What a McDisaster… She can do so much better.
OK, people, can you read? It’s based on a traditional Korean dress called a HANBOK. It would not look like a HANBOK without the bow. Broaden your horizons just a bit, wouldja? Sheesh.
I like the dress overall, but the bow is a tad big.
I like the hanbok idea, but with a face like that she should really stick to something more common.
I’d wear that dress. I love Sandra Oh. She’s an amazing actress.
i love the dress on her. but more than that, i think i love more her reason (or what i think her reason is) for wearing it. in fact, donning that dress is another classic sandra ohf or you - always making a statement, be it in her sense of fashion, in what she stands for, even on who she really is. i say this because you see in korea, traditional dress and national dress is one and same. the hanbok being one, wearing it develops a highly expression of korean identity. i remember what sandra oh said when she asked in an interview what she thinks of korea. she said it’s a mystery to her that she would love to someday explore. and she said that a long time ago. and she wasn’t lying. because here there she was, proudly wearing and embracing an undeniable part of her, and looking rather exquisite in it. i think hers is the kind of beauty that is so underrated and underappreciated, which ironically makes her all the more a stand-out.
I like the dress. I’ve always been a fan of Hanboks.
I like the dress, the bow might be a little big but i think it suits her, and I love her hair. She’s such a great actress
i think she looks brilliant! i love her! she’s a great actress
That dress is f’ing atrocious!! What was she thinking?
Just because it is traditional Korean culture does not make it beautiful. Many people comment it is the ugliest traditional dress in Asia
“many people comment it is the ugliest traditional dress in Asia”
I would like to know where you get this sort of information from…because when you look at miss universe pageants and whatnot, korea is usually praised for their traditional dress. stop being so ignorant.
Just read any ESL website… Japanese Kimono = hot, Chinese Traditional dress = hotter, Hanbok = ughh!
Yes Korea is praised by Koreans because they are so insecure. By the way, when was the last time Oh was in Korea? Oh that’s right, NEVER!
she’s beautiful. the dress is hideous, but she’s beautiful.
she is so wonderful but that dress is nasty , its a shame…She is one of the best if not the best actress in the world! I LOVE GREYS ANATOMY!!
