Sandra Oh @ SAG Awards 2008
Grey’s Anatomy star Sandra Oh (in Kim Me Hee) keeps close to her cultural roots, wearing a couture version of a hanbok (traditional Korean dress) at the 2008 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday in Los Angeles.

That dress is f’ing atrocious!! What was she thinking?
Just because it is traditional Korean culture does not make it beautiful. Many people comment it is the ugliest traditional dress in Asia

I would like to know where you get this sort of information from…because when you look at miss universe pageants and whatnot, korea is usually praised for their traditional dress. stop being so ignorant.
Just read any ESL website… Japanese Kimono = hot, Chinese Traditional dress = hotter, Hanbok = ughh!
Yes Korea is praised by Koreans because they are so insecure. By the way, when was the last time Oh was in Korea? Oh that’s right, NEVER!
she’s beautiful. the dress is hideous, but she’s beautiful.
she is so wonderful but that dress is nasty , its a shame…She is one of the best if not the best actress in the world! I LOVE GREYS ANATOMY!!
Who cares what ABSURD traditional Korean style it was trying to capture. The garment is absurd. She looks like a simpleton. She would have been better off going as Madam Bloody Butterfly if she wanted to capture a traditional Asian look. She’s a rather plain woman trying to be daring and it failed. Miserably. Shame on her consultants/handlers for letting her appear publicly in that disaster.
