Tears for Spears - Britney Breaksdown
Britney Spears breaks down on the sidewalk on Friday, just outside her gated community in Los Angeles, Calif.
She left manager Sam Lufti’s car and after walking, sat down and started sobbing.
On Monday, Lufti was interviewed by Barbara Walters on “The View” and said the singer suffers from “mental issues” and has seen a psychiatrist.

Did people make her drink alcohol? NO!
Did people make her party until the sun rises?NO!
Did people make her show her very private parts over and over again? NO!
Did people make her shave her hair? NO!
Did people make her get married to some one who has a pregnant girlfriend and other kid?
Did people stop her from getting professional help for what she has been going through in her life? SURELY NO!
Did people stop her from being normal? NO!
Some people did buy her albums and made her famous and rich (although I have still NOT understood why they did this). The rest, she did to herself.
She will only be remembered somehow if she kills herself at this age. Otherwise, she will be forgotten.
Once she might have considered as an icon (?), but now, the same people have realised how wrong they were about this loser.

mental illness is not self inflicted and people don’t ‘do it to you.’
it’s a chemical imbalance in her brain. nobody in their right mind can say she is compos mentis so why her family have left her to fend for herself i don’t know.
I never liked her as a pop icon anyway but on human level I have pity for her and would never hit a person while they’re down. so people have mercy, it could be any one of you.

I don’t think 45 minutes with a psychiatrist is going to cure this girl, maybe not even 45 sessions. As soon as the psychiatrist says one thing Britney doesn’t like she’ll be outta there and on to the next one just like all her so called friends and “managers.”
Good luck Britney. Hope she will become better and overcome this.
Many people had even worse situations and problem and overcame them and became stronger. Stronger Britney…

Who wouldn’t breakdown with all that pressure and criticism. I didn’t pay any attention to her when she was a pop princes, but know I feel for her, and kind of like her. She’s a real artist now, all self destructive . Give her a break.

Britney needs to get away from Sam, Adnan, the paparazzi, the media, you name it. I am really starting to feel for this girl because she has completely lost her way. She has been so used and taken advantage, I don’t know how she knows who to trust and that’s sad when everyone involved in your life is out for a piece of you. I don’t care what Sam and Adnan say, they are out for a piece of Britney and are not her true friends because she wouldn’t be in the mess she’s in now if they were. The paparazzi are just as bad. They feed crap to her big time, acting as if they are around to help her and be her friends. Bulls**t. They are out to make $$$ and nothing more. No wonder she’s so messed up mentally.
This is just terrible…. I’m a big fan of her artistry and performances. I miss that Britney who dances and performs so well. She’s an adult. As adults, we make decisions that affect our lives… and unfortunately she’s made decisions that disastrously affected her whole life and those around her. God knows we’ve all made bad decisions… I’m not throwing stones here.
But it does seem like now this “mental” condition is another excuse for her decisions and her mistakes. Maybe she just needs to humble out and accept responsibility… it may not “cure” her, but it may help… You gotta start somewhere. Take Care Brit :)

Hey she picks these dangerous losers to hang out with so I guess she is really happy and living large. Anyone normal, kind and supportive gets her scorn, abuse and ridicule.
This isn’t a “breakdown”. It’s called a “hissy/conniption fit” and ALL TWO YEAR OLDS HAVE THEM. Because essentially that’s what Brit is - a spoiled brat of 2 year-old. She hasn’t got any “mental problems” beyond having had her way too damned much. Just like a two-year old…if you ignore them eventually stop throwing fits for attention.
If she’s seen a psychiatrist it sure doesn’t look like it. This girl needs to go back home to Kentwood and lay low for a while with her sister Jamie Lynn. Hanging around in Hollywood is obviously not working for her right now.
This is sad actually… seeing someone crying is always tough. BUT with that said, Britney calls all these media attention on herself. How do you explain going to the gas station every single day and buying stuff at Rite Aid every single day? Britney, money doesn’t buy happiness and I’m she you know that by now… It just fills your house with crap that you don’t need and leaves you feeling empty inside…
