Sarah Jessica Parker Wears a Doughnut
Sarah Jessica Parker films a scene on Thursday with her haute couture wardrobe for the ‘Sex and The City’ movie in New York City.
Is it me or does it look like she has a blue doughnut wrapped around her upper body? SJP completed the look with clog-style white ankle boots and pink mini dress.
Release date for the movie is May 30.

Poor thing! She does look old. I’ve never thought SJP was stunningly beautiful but I always thought she looked nice. She always seemed to try with her hair and make-up and she always looked reasonable. These pictures are not flattering. Outdoor natural lighting is harsh.
sjp needs to cut her hair, plain and simple. she has a long face and at this point, it just makes her look old and haggard.

She said she thought people should be allowed to age and didn’t want to have surgery etc. I agree with her as it seems a crime to be older and on screen but I have a feeling she may change her mind and get some work done like most other actresses her age and beyond. Most of the women in Hollywood if they had aged naturally wouldn’t look very good either.

When SATC first aired I lusted after everything she wore, everything. I wanted a closetful of Manolos. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve aged or what, but everything I see her wear looks like you-gotta-be-kidding-me! It has to be some kind of a joke.

OMG!!! I am a stylist & a feminist and in the past have been relatively a fan of SJP and SATC. But this is going too far! She is coming off like a desperate wanabee fashionista. trying to look young and hip. It is back firing terribly. She is relying on her cute skinny legs and way cute shoes. Over posing, make-up way too severe, makes her look harsh, dress too short for her age…That thing wrapped around her??? WTF? Is this an animated cartoon? She is turning Carrie (and herself) into a joke! This movie is going to funny, all for the wrong reasons I’m afraid. Good luck!

I’m sorry, but who cares if you think she’s ugly. Looks aren’t everything. Plus, she’s in her 40’s. You can’t expect her to look 20 without having surgery done. I think she’s aging, and letting herself show her age is beautiful enough.

Don’t be naïve ~Aging gracefully, Geez Folks~ Ms. Parker has had plenty of work done ~ Nose to name one for starters ~ Botox, skin resurfacing (b/c of smoking) and the list goes on and on~ you can’t be in pictures without having something done and that is why she looks so strange and unnatural ~ not just older~ I wish she would just age gracefully, but no real chance of that one happening any time soon

Haute Couture designates a well defined term, i.e.the Fashion Houses being part of the List of the Federation of Haute Couture in France with well established criterias… at the moment, there are something like 7 Fashion house, comprising Dior, Chanel, Valentino, Armani, Jean paul Gaultier, Anne Valerie hash etc…
I wonder if that giant scrunchy was part of any of the Haute Couture runways last season… Don’t think so!
Sarah’s makeup job here looks FAR worse than anything she normally wears in her real life. Add to that the House of Planet Mars couture, and I think we’re looking at a dream sequence from the film. A very, very BAD dream. The kind Carrie Bradshaw would wake up screaming from.
Sarah Jessica Parker was a great Annie as a child and become a very capable minor Hollywood talent. By Hollywood standards one must admit she is not your usual “pretty” face. But she does have the ability to be convincing with her acting abilities that have helped her draw attention away from her lack of physical beauty. She has had a number of documented plastic surgeries such as her nose. And it would appear from the odd and strange pulled look of her skin/face she uses various techniques to erase wrinkles. Being to thin is aging (lack of fat under the skin) and the extra long hair also ages her face. But with that said, the whole effort has made her look very worn and the attempt to look younger than her age is not flattering.
What’s up with Hollywood and all these super skinny older women? Yikes! Her legs and face are no longer meant to be wearing long hair and mini skirts. She absolutely looks like a scary clown that’s gotten lost from her circus
