That is some ugly woman! She is so manly looking she has huge feet and hands. Violet is just ok, but don’t worry about her she will cover her ears and forehead like mom as she gets older and they have enough money for surgery. I hate to rank on a child but not all kids are cute and it’s annoying to hear fugly’s fans rant and rave about how pretty she is, knowing damn well that they are not. I just saw right now the house that ben and jen are looking for buy, and OMG, it’s a beautiful house, tooo big, look the pic:

The house has seven-bedroom, six-bathroom house house is up for $20 million (!), and along with multiple living quarters, boasts ocean views, a games room, private gym and sauna, swimming pool and massive back garden. It also features extensive security features, including an 11-foot electronic gate, and eight-foot perimeter wall.

I hope they buy this house, it’s so beautiful… and of course they are going to have another kid soon…

First, why all the discussion about a two-year-old’s teeth? You do realize that they are BABY teeth so they will fall out and adult teeth will grow back, right? Neither a pacifier nor gum is going to go any harm at this point. And for the record, we’ve only seen her holding a pack, never chewing it.

Second, get over the clothes. She always looks cute and like a little girl that is ready to go outside, play and get dirty.

Third, I don’t get the impression that Jen Garner is pimping out her daughter. What exactly is she supposed to do about the paps being everywhere in Hollywood? The reason they are all over her is because she is polite and doesn’t get into it with them. The are scavengers who will follow any celebrity and take pictures of anyone. They potentially could make some money off of anything they get. Hell, I saw a show where they were bothering Jonathan Silverman the other night and asking him about Britney on film. Seriously? We haven’t seen him in YEARS, but they’ll still get him on camera just in case.

If you want to be annoyed by seeing this family too much, they aren’t to blame. Point your annoyance towards the paps and Jared.

The value of the home you live in determines if you are down to earth or not? I’ve always been under the impression that it depends on how you live your day to day life and how you treat the people around. I’ve never heard of an instance where someone has had something bad to say about her that is concrete. Anything negative such as “she slept her way up the Hollywood ladder” (WTF?!?!), actually, that’s the only thing I’ve heard said about her and it’s only been said about people who have NO CLUE so I’ll stop there. I guess people always need to find a way to bring others down.

And actually, when Jen and Ben met on the set of Daredevil, they were rumored to have become very good friends while filming. They both mentioned in the press junkets how much they got along and how much they liked one another. I believe they were both involved with others and nothing happened between them until long after filming when they were both single again. Think what you want.

Writing as someone who is currently separated from her husband, if you date someone else when legally separated, it is not considered cheating. So when was she separated from Scott Foley and what was the exact date when she and Michael Vartan started a relationship? And, since she was never married to Michael Vartan and since you have NO idea when they actually broke up, you have no way of knowing if there was cheating going on when she and Ben finally got together. Besides, who cares. This is retarded.

I was saying exactly that. How she dresses her child has nothing to do with what kind of mother she is. I have no doubt that she is a most excellent mother. I also have no doubt that she is definitely more hands-on than JLo will be, although she is having twins and will need more help than dealing with one child. My comment is that she does not have good fashion sense, for herself or her little girl. She’s a lovely kid and deserves better clothes, something they can well afford. Suri’s always dressed in party clothes, which is not good for everyday. But there are so many gorgeous, comfortable clothes for girls. My observation is only that JLo and Garner seem to be on opposite ends of the fashion spectrum. Seems interesting that Ben picked two such different women (also no comment from me on the reasons for that or who’s he happier with. I’m only talking fashion here.) That has nothing to do with what kind of mother they are. By the way, I do think that JLo, who has wanted this for a very long time, will be a good mother.

If she is as ambitious and as much a fame wh*re as you say she is, it would have been a wiser move to have taken the deal from Tommy Cruise when he was going down the list of possible trophy wives and gave her a call (allegedly). So either she actually loves about the people she has been involved with, or she le the greatest social climbing opportunity EVER pass her by.

Since it’s been established that she tends to be very private about the relationships she’s in, how does that figure into the whole “climbing the social ladder / fame wh*re” theory, exactly? Just out of curiosity, of course, because it doesn’t quite add up.

Michelle Pfeiffer is one who has admited that they moved up to Northern California to get away from them. Also, Andie McDowell now lives in Asheville, NC. How can you honestly say that being married to Ben Affleck hasn’t given her name recognition? Just the mere names of Bennifer 1 and Affleck lit up the tabloids not so long ago plus the fact Affleck has many ties/connections within the industry. If you seriously think that Garner’s marriage to Affleck hasn’t introduced her to movie roles and popularity, then you’re giving far toooooo much credit to Garner’s role in Alias. If she had not married him and had Violet, she would be pounding the pavement like so many ex-TV stars do.

She had the title role in Alias (which, perhaps, YOU shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss as far as career advancement) which was created by JJ Abrams (with whom she is still friends). You might know him from a few little projects like Felicity - where she got her start, mind you - Lost and the number one film right now, Cloverfield, among others. If anything, making friends with HIM has done more for her career than anything. Strangely, she did not marry or date him. Hmmmm…

Anyway, not to get off track, but the name recognition was there before she got the role in Daredevil, where she MET Ben, and then got her title role in Elektra. I didn’t say that more people don’t know who she is now than before they finally got together, I’m just saying it hasn’t exactly done the wonders for her career that you seem to be implying it has.

Oh and I have to change one thing I wrote. Ben and Jen actuallly met on the set of Pearl Harbor and have known each other since then. So perhaps their attraction and friendship started long before Michael Vartan was ever in the picture and was one of those things.

You’re trying to tell me something about Alias as if I haven’t watched since day one and know just about everything there is to know about Alias and Garner’s love life and the fact that she and JJ are the best of buds. Puleeeeze, give me some credit. And Mya is absolutely right, she did cause Vartan to leave the show. And, yeah, he was called back but only because of the backlash from fans.

^^ You must not have listened to his last interview. He plainly said he wasn’t sure if he would ever be called back but was glad when he was since it was the last year for the series.

There’s nothing skewed about my opinion of her celebrity status. Simply put, she was and still is a B+ actress at best and was a B list celeb prior to Affleck. When she married, she became an A-list celeb because of who she married…her name is out there. The industry knows who she is. She doesn’t have to pound the sidewalks. This is what I meant by name recognition. Juno has probably moved her up a bit actress wise but that remains to be seen depending on her next projects. However, I doubt doing a film with Matthew M. will elevate her actress status much.

And just why do you think she kept her relationship with Vartan secret? If you can’t figure it out, then there’s no use in trying to explain it.

It was only intended for Vartan to return for the Horizon. As the backlash continued, they asked him to come back for at least 3-5 episodes depending on whether or not he returned to the States in time.

Oh now I wouldn’t go so far as to say she was all that private. Please think back to the Foley days. She told the world plenty about her relationship with Foley and whatnot. When she kept professing her undying love for him up to at least a month prior to the announced separation, only then did she suddenly start becoming “private.” In other words, her lack of privacy burned her.

Jen Garner had everything in the world to do with Vartan’s departure from Alias and whoever is saying she didn’t is only saying that because they don’t want to see her besmirched in the eyes of her devout fans or either being fed a blatant lie from a few select Alias insiders. She and one other person went behind MV’s back to have him written out and certainly weren’t expecting the backlash that occurred. Vartan knew what happened but is far too nice to ever convey what happened and why. He simply moved on but was delighted to be called back to finish up a series that he loved doing. As far as he and Garner remaining friends, let’s just say they are cordial to each other.

Garner seems to treat her ex’s badly, i.e. Scott Foley and Michael Vartan. I’m looking forward to when she and Affleck start to self-destruct. They deserve each other.

To Myra’s comment at #59, Jen never cheated on Foley. He said so himself. There was no infidelity involved. They grew apart just like a lot of people in the business. (especially when one partner’s career takes off and the other can’t handle it, more so when the woman becomes more successful). Do your research before spouting off with baseless information. For the record, Violet is the cutest kid out there, looks and personality combined. They dress her very cute and exactly the way a two year old should be dressed. I also like the way Jen dresses in everyday clothes. To each his own.
