Michelle Williams: Please Respect Our Privacy
Michelle Williams has given her first statement since the death of her former companion Heath Ledger.
In a statement released by Heath’s rep, Michelle said, “Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him.”

anja: I might add that what is really SICK is people who fall in “love” with people they have never met or never will meet and whom they know simply from pictures. People like that are REALLY SICK. I think falling in love with a picture is the height of SICKNESS. Only someone whose own life is completely dead would fall in love with an image.
Jannie my love for Heath is totally different, i admire him as young actor who came from litlle town like Perth, and succesed in big country like USA. That not easy it takes courage. Michelle statement is hartbreaking.

You made absolutely no sense in your attempt to rebut me, but alright. I do agree that Heath’s life could have been saved if Diana Wolozin had been fully lucid that afternoon and called 911 quickly, instead of freaking out and calling Mary-Kate Olsen repeatedly. But exactly, why are you trying to attack me on my choice of profession, especially when I could have done nothing about it, as I am six hours north of New York City?
And yes, I do know if I happened to see a dead body, I’d call 911 immediately— being from a family that specializes in the medical profession, I knew that by the age of two. Furthermore, if you had to point that out to a nursing student, I really do wonder about your processes of logic.
I would suggest you get off of your high horse, and respect Heath’s memory. His cause of death has been declared and at this point, all sorts of speculation bears no significance as the Ledgers & Williamses should be left to grieve in peace, and rightfully so.

You seemed to say as you kept turning up. They poisoned you with compromise. At what point did you realize. Everybody loves your life but you. A special agent for the man. I really do hope the public respects her wishes its such a heart breaking situation she is going through at this time in her life. I know from personal experience of losing a loved one and having a child left behind. She needs her privacy and space. She needs to re connect with herself and sanity for her little girls sake especially. its such a huge heart break for her and matilda.
