This is good news. I wasn’t even aware that the movie is was ever in danger of not happening. I’m glad to see that things have been worked out because even though she’s playing a supporting role this could to lead to good things for her career wise if all goes well.

Are you a 9-year-old? Vanessa is in Austin doing pre-production work on this movie. Surely you don’t expect her to give up her career and follow Zac around like a puppy dog. Also, I fear you kiddies put way too much stock in those rings. I know this is difficult for young kids to understand, but Zac and Vanessa’s relationship goes much deeper than the rings.

Actually it hasn’t started filming yet. She has been seen in Austin for band rehearsals however. As far as David Bowie being in the movie goes, I thought that was one of the weaker aspects of the script *Which I enjoyed immensely* but its cool he wants to do it. And it fits but came across in my opinion a little too cheesy. But it still could work.

It is good to see the newest reports and articles about the new ring seem more factual. Perhaps it is an early Valentine’s present as they might be apart on that day. Heck, they may be on different continents. I’m sure Zac would like to tell Vanessa how much she has meant to him during his recent medical problems and that she has his heart no matter if they are apart for a while.

#87 There is a blog in which one of the member’s of the band that will be performing in the battle of the Bands sequence in the movie talks meeting her at rehearsals in Austin. So there is in fact proof that Vanessa has been out of town. Not only that someone else posted on IMDB that she has been at Target, at a Hannah Montana concert, and hanging out with “Will” co-star Alyson Michalaka in Austin.

Why else has there been no pictures of her in two weeks. Plus she made it to Miami last month without a single picture taken of her when she was leaving. So it has been done. Nice try sport.

There was an article and the link was even posted on one of Zac or Vanessa’s threads telling that she had left to go to Austin. Actually I believe it was just a couple days after those pictures were taken of “Zanessa’s Weekend Romp” when she was suppose to have left. Also, in another link posted on one of the threads there was a picture of Vanessa where it looked like she was at the airport. Some of us had the discussion about if that was the case as we couldn’t get much info about the pic. Perhaps just once she was trying to get away without notice and not have the paps following her. Zac was just newly out of the hospital so she was keeping low. And before you say there was no way she could have gotten out of town without someone seeing her—we had pictures of her doing that charity event in Miami before anyone knew she was gone! Just that day there had been pics of her at a shopping mall and presto, the next day she was in Miami without ONE picture of her departure!

If it were just one blog but I have seen several about citings of her in Austin. But the most significant piece of evidence is that there hasn’t been ONE picture of her with Zac, without Zac, with Ashley or without Ashley for the past two weeks. Doesn’t that seem odd when new pap photos of her were almost a daily occurance for the past four months. Or did you just assume that all of the sudden pictures of her were no longer selling and the paps stopped trailing her?

It’s good that they’re apart, if they are apart. They are both mature people, with good heads on their shoulders. They are a solid couple, and because of that they don’t always have to be together to be together.

I can’t wait to see David Bowie in this film. He had a good role in “Zoolander,” it added authenticity to the script. Maybe it will have the same effect for “Will.”

Look at “Juno” *an absolutely wonderful film don’t get me wrong.* The basic premise “Teenaged girl gets pregnant decides to give baby up for adoption” sounds like your average made-for-Lifetime-TV movie. I doubt anybody expected it be an Oscar Contender for Best Picture *I hope it wins.* You never know what’s going to click.

Yeah, I hope that it turns out to be successful! Have you read the script yet? I am really looking forward to how she portrays her role especially the way she acts like she has a speech defect. In my opinion, she has not really portrayed roles that showcased her talent in acting. I hope that this role will challenge and improve her acting skills.

hi guys, just dropped in for some reading about my favorite couple, you guessed it, ZANESSA.

I’m so happy for the movie for v and it is funny to no that both z & v are in their new movies with two of the cast from friends.

I was also happy to hear about the ring that zac bought nessa. it didn’t really say it was an engagement ring but that it was a ring that showed his, something to the effect of a stronger feeling of commitment for her. I was happy to read this. I do believe, myself, it is true until proven otherwise.

this young couple has shown that with everything they have been through for their age, they have handled it in a mature fashion then most older people and I hope they can hold on to that. I believe it is because they are there for each other and keep each other grounded.
I have seen interviews where they say that their friends and families are there as well.

I pray God keeps his hand upon them and that they have a long and prosperous love, life, health and all the good due them.

troy, karen, just the facts, and Steph….good job trying to help mr. undertaker and az. I’m not sure why they care so much. They’re obviously doubters, and like Boji said, they won’t believe “proof” anyway. They’re going to see what they want to see. As tell-tale said, really, they don’t have to prove anything to anyone. Zac and Vanessa don’t have to answer to us, their fans, or anyone else. Their professional careers are where they will “prove” themselves, and their private life is ALL heresay. They will never talk about it publicly, and good for them!!! But honestly, we are fans of both, and just wish them the best on their young careers.

So glad to hear about Lisa Kudrow being in this film. It’s funny how Zac and Vanessa both have “Friends” stars in their movies. I was so sorry to see Friends go off the air . One of my favorite shows of all time.

As far as Vanessa not being photographed for awhile good for her. She deserves so peace and quiet from the paps. Again, having lived in Austin for 3 years and visiting my parents there for 25 years , I have never once seen any paparazzi in Austin. Maybe with the addition off all the cast there once they start filming , we may get a photo or two. Nothing like LA I”m sure. All the stars state that LA is the worst for the paps.

On the subject of the rings, none of us has seen the ring. It may be the one Malia showed us. If so, I think he gave it to her for Valentine’s day or as a token of his love for her. Maybe a reminder so she can keep him close in her thoughts while they are separated. There are many rings out there that fit the description mentioned in the article. If the ring is a diamond heart in an engagement ring setting, that means something much more obviously. Since we don’t know we can’t say. Who knows , maybe it isn’t true at all. We do know that these two are crazy about each other and have lasted through thick and thin. Until we see a ring, lets just assume things are the same as usual.

My hope for Vanessa is that this will be a break out role for her as some of you have mentioned. She deserves it and has worked hard to overcome the craziness of the last part of 2007. Looking forward to her and Zac’s new films and of course, HSM3.

i don’t know why you have to change your moniker just to get what you want…are you really that desperate to know the truth? I doubt that you like them and it is very obvious that you don’t so why the call for to give you proof and asking for it? And even if you seen or given any..nothing will change it will all just a waste for skeptic people like you.

I have looked at the ring and I would’nt call it a diamond ring like a engagement ring to me a diamond ring has more than one diamond in it, but I do love the ring and how the diamond is set in it, my daughter looked at it to and she love’s silver and as she said it’s a simple ring but stylish to and not over the top like some rings.

Now weather it’s true about Zac giving one to Vanessa only they know but it’s not so hard to beleive that when you’ve been with someone for 2 year’s plus that they at some point in the relactionship would buy some jewellery for the other person.

With some people they just find it really hard to beleive that you can be young and sensible and actually know your own mind and find love at a young age too. Unfortunetly we live in a very cynical world, Zac and Vanessa are a rare find in Hollywood but I say good luck to them.

#213 I’m not mad at you but I don’t understand why you just assume they’ve broken up. Why is it so hard to believe that the reason why we haven’t seen them together for the past two weeks is maybe because Vanessa has been in Austin. Go to the “Will” the message boards on IMDB and there’s reports of citings at Target, at a Hannah Montana concert on the 24th of January in Austin. Doesn’t it seem odd to you as a fan that there hasn’t been ONE photo of Vanessa in the past two weeks. Doesn’t it suggest that maybe just MAYBE she isn’t in L.A.?
As far as the rings go Zac has been photographed without the ring before and remember he is currently filming a movie. Maybe he hasn’t been wearing it because he doesn’t want to risk losing it on set. It’s just something to think about. I guess I don’t understand the pessimism and why people are so quick to ring the death knell on this couple. Especially when the evidence that Vanessa is simply out of town is so strong. So, those of you who insist “THEY” have not been wearing them for so long, that is an incorrect statement. Plus, the very last possible picture of Vanessa at an airport surrounding she also HAS her ring on. We have not seen Zac’s ring just since his surgery. IF he was actually taken to the hospital from his home at night by Vanessa and his mom as one tabloid reported, then I am sure the ring was taken off at that point and left safely at Zac’s apartment. But to assume they have broken up because of the ring is stupid. Also, since they are in different states right now working it is not too hard to understand why we have not seen them together. What is SOOO hard about this????

First, I am not a pre-schooler. I am most certainly old enough to be some of you youngsters grandmother. But before you write me off as senile, try to have this one thought: this woman must have had a few life experiences and have seen things over and over again in her life. She might even know a few things about people and relationships considering she has found a way to maintain a 20+ year marriage. Here is some random thoughts for you that drive me crazy:

1. Just a month ago, Zac and Vanessa went to Palm Springs together for an obvious romantic getaway for 2 nights. They drip love on that red carpet. He did not have to take her there with him much less walk the red carpet with her.

2. About 10 days later Zac is rushed to the hospital late at night by according to a tabloid Vanessa. She obviously was concerned about his welfare.

3. About 3 days later we have Zac emerging from his recuperation to go out with Ashley and Vanessa to eat. The next weekend after his surgery we see him and Vanessa TOGETHER—the last thread before this one—she is wearing her ring. We have no reason to think anything is wrong with their relationship. We even have a picture of them at the pizza place with a fan. Zac still looks a little shaky and not fully recovered.

4. Within 48 hours after this picture, we have reports—but none of us can swear in a court of law about it since we are not there with her—that she is in Texas. We have reports and I think even a picture of her with Miley Cyrus(the last I could be wrong about) that she was at Miley’s concert in Austin which would say she is actually in Texas and not speculation.

5. We don’t see pictures of her for days on end even though we have always gotten them about every other day here on JJ. BUT people immediately start getting all upset that something is wrong with her and Zac. Nobody seems to be able to put together that IF she is in Texas working and Zac is in LA working there is no way they can be SEEN or PICTURED together. People don’t want to believe the reports about her in Texas because there is no picture. Everyone is saying NEITHER of them are wearing their rings. NOT TRUE, Vanessa was wearing hers right down to the last know picture of her and one that we think was taken before her departure or arrival in Texas.

6. Now comes a report from a tabloid that has been know to print LIES about these two before saying Zac said he wishes he was single and EVERYONE jumps on that bandwagon and BELIEVES that. This point I will elaborate on just for a moment:
Maybe he did say that. Have none of you ever heard anyone who is “attached” say in a teasing way when seeing a pretty girl “I wish I was single” or “I wish I wasn’t married” or an older man about a pretty young girl “I wish I was 10 years younger”? I can see Zac saying something like that when surrounded by adoring fans. BUT do you really think he want to be with ANY ONE of those girls? He probably was acknowledging their admiration of him as he is a polite and thankful guy. Do you think that Zac would be bemoaning his relationship to a friend knowing how private he is, much less one who he thinks would run off to a pap and tell what he said in confidence? I doubt that he had any friend around him that has been in close contact to a pap to talk to them. Can you people not see this? Probably they took an innocent comment and made something out of it as many times they do—sometimes they just make up stuff.

7. LAST thought (YEA, every one yells): Along with the rumor in Star, known hater of Zac and Vanessa, we have even more reports that Zac just got Vanessa a lovely new ring with a heart and diamond on it. I don’t see anyone going nuts. This little news item everyone is taking with a grain of salt(not really believing). So, why not? I’m not saying you should but why AREN’T you? You doubters seem very ready to believe Star and the intent they made. BOTH have the same validity. We cannot always jump to conclusions. All I want people to do is weigh all the knowledge you have before making accusations. How many times in the past 6 months have we read that Brad and Angelina have broken up, been having trouble, or whatever else they are saying in negative way? OH, my goodness, now we find she is pregnant! So, they obviously were not breaking up. BUT you can now be ready to hear all kinds of tragic scenarios about her pregnancy, trust me. Give Zac and Vanessa the benefit of the doubt, OK?

Yes, it is so sad it is funny. IF only people could realize that it can’t be BOTH ways and that somebody or all these people are lying. But over the years I have read so many tabloids—I have a mother-in-law who is nearly 88 years old and she has spent a fortune on these magazines over the 20+ years that I have know her. She passes them on to us and I pass them to my sister who works in a retirement village. They like to read them there. But when I have read through some of the articles I used to laugh at some of the things they would say. I think I may have brought this up in another post but once I remember one of the tabloids reported when Barbara Walters was going through her last divorce how she and her then husband had been walking on the beach discussing their problems and thus decided to end the marriage. Now, they reported the whole conversation like they were there. Was it because of some listening device they had on them? No, the story came from a “close friend” of Barbara’s. Do any of YOU believe someone like Barbara Walters told a friend of this private conversation? And word for word, no less? For heaven sakes, she’s not 16! And do you think that the paps would go around and ask all of Babs friends if they knew what they talked about on the beach even if the paps knew they were even on the beach? OR do you think that Barbara Walters have the type friends that would go off and find a pap to tell such a story to??? I’m not saying they never print any truth but even the truth is turned into a lie many times for the pap’s benefit.

Those actors are too good to be in a movie with the likes of Vanessa. They actually have talent unlike her. I HOPE THE MOVIE GETS CANCELED OR A LEAST BOMBS IN THE BOX OFFICE. Well, When I was young it seemed a lot more fun. The Unicorns and Lions with the occasional Tiger with entourage would come over to any household to perform their dance. You had to give them an Ang Pow ( money packet) So you’d have to keep your gate closed if you don’t want to entertain them and then there was the firecrackers, sparklers and mini fireworks. Nowadays, a ban on firecrackers has made it rather dull,somewhat. All our shopping Centers have decorations just like christmas except it’s all chinese stuff with lots of red and cherry blossoms everywhere. It definitely would be an experience for you all.

According to Vanessa her family have always been with her when she has been filming until HSM2. That was her first time away from home by herself. I think that was what she wanted as it free her up to get closer to Zac without parental interference. When Zac went off to Toronto to film Hairspray it was his first time to go off alone also. So, going off to Utah alone was just his second time away from home also. Vanessa says she left her door opened at night because she got scared very easily and the rest of the cast of HSM2 were very understanding and protective of her. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if her mom and Stella is there with her—I don’t know about her dad. And since Vanessa was home schooled, I would guess Stella is too.

However, if Vanessa is trying to get her first house I would say she needs to learn to be by herself. But then again, she may feel safer if someone is there with her like a family menber. I’m sure it will be different when she goes to Utah since she will have Zac plus all the other regular cast members who are like family to her at this point. So, she most likely would feel safe in that situation.

You know, it’s pretty weird how some keeps calling Vanessa talent-less and then either continue with saying that they aren’t jealous, but come on, the only reason you would call someone talent-less would be if you though that you had more talent but haven’t succeeded the way Vanessa or anyone else have, or you would continue with calling her these horrible and inhuman names, like the b-word, the w-word and/or the s-word, but if that’s what you thought, then if you have seen Vanessa in HSM among others where she portraits someone who isn’t any of those things, then you’re basically calling her the best actress in the world, I dunno, to me that doesn’t add up. Oh well, I love her and the way she acts, and sings and I can see her going far, the same as Zac.

Still not at all convinced that this is true anyway…. thought JJ normally adds comments with the post.

#396, I would consider Jared a reliable source in that regard and Stella is indeed home schooled just like Vanessa was. That’s why when she was on the Tyra Banks show she said HSM kind of gave her a chance to experience HS since she was home-schooled and Tyra consequently threw her an imaginary prom since she didn’t go to prom either.

For those who are interested, here is the cast of Will so far:

-Sa5m (the quiet girl who used to stutter and is always reading a book; came in second in a singing talent show; ends up as a singer in Will’s band) – Vanessa Hudgens
-Will Burton (an awkward, teenage diamond in the rough; knows everything about music; helps form a band called “I Can’t Go On; I’ll Go On”) – Liam Aiken
-Karen Burton (Will’s mother) – Lisa Kudrow
-Charlotte Banks (popular girl who is effortlessly cool with short punk blonde hair; helps Will form a band)– Alyson Michalka
-Ben Wheatley (head of River Dogs band that made Bandslam finals three years in a row) – Scott Porter
-Scott Donnelly (student body president) – Will Johnson
-Basher Martin (the best unsigned drummer in the state who ends up in Will’s band) – Ryan Donowho
-David Bowie ???? Cameo appearance or will Will just get a letter from Bowie near the end?

At least there was nothing outrageous stated in post #382 and everything that was stated could very possibly be true. So, there really isn’t any need for anyone to get upset. I hope Vanessa does get done with her movie by the middle of March and not the end of March which was previously reported—that way it won’t be so long before she’s home! We’r talking only a little over 5 weeks. If Zac starts his new film this week or next—the one interview with him said “next week” and the interview was printed this past week—he will probably be done by the first of April so that isn’t so long. Maybe if he finishes his film in New York then Vanessa can join him there, etc. There is a ton of possibilities so everyone should not be speculating at this point. One thing I’m sure of, Vanessa and Zac know what’s going on and if they can catch some quiet then that’s good. And I believe we will be hearing things between now and then anyway. But let’s keep our heads straight in what we hear, OK?

On that token, remember how I was trying to point out all the lies told about Brad and Angie and how we should not then take it to heart everything they say about Zac and Vanessa? I said now that Angie is definitely pregnant that you can bet the gossip mill will start telling tales of her pregnancy is in trouble? I should have bet on that. While getting groceries this morning I read in one of the new tabloids (it was on the cover) about “Angelina’s Dangerous Pregnancy”! Anyway, in the coming weeks, let us be ready to divide fact from fiction when it comes to what we read about Zac and Vanessa, OK?

After my last post I went off to make me something to eat as I have to go off to work tonight. It is quiet here since nothing is shaking and everyone it would seem has football on their minds! LOL
