Miranda: It’s Getting Hot in Kerr
Victoria’s Secret angel Miranda Kerr takes advantage of her celebrity model status, posing right before the Rock & Republic Show during Mercedes Benz Fall 2008 Fashion Week at NYC’s Bryant Park on Saturday. (She and Jessica Stam walked in the show.)
The 24-year-old Aussie recently said it was nice that all the Australians could come together and “honor Heath’s life. It’s obviously a shock to everyone and everyone is still trying to deal with it the best way they can.”

Well at least her face looks as though it coudn’t be used to lube a car. Less grease is by far the better look. She is such a nobody, and yet she has been in three posts this week. I see it is hating to have a different opinon then your own. When there are people whose actions you don’t like are you then the hater? I have seen her interviewed and she sounds like a ten year old girl, who is still worrying about if her dress is the bestest. I have reasons for my dislike of her, she is a user and a snotty little git.. I live in NY and have actually seen her treat people at a resturant like crap.

Think it is funny about how she managed to work Heath’s name into the conversation. She is really using anything she can to work it and get the publicity even the death of someone she probably didn’t even know that well. Just because they came from the same country , and a pretty large country at that she really had to use his name. That is like someone thinking that if someone in the US died I would be qualified to comment since we came from the same country. She is a user of any kind of publicity she can beg, borrow or steal.

(This is just a handful of people she has been with and DOESN’T include the many boyfriends she had in her earlier days, the middle aged and older corporate businessmen, Australian designers, male models etc she has been in casual relationships/ had flings with.
It’s always the same with the cabbage patch girl. She’s always got the same fake poses and smile. She’s going to have to give her PR people a raise. I wonder if it’s true about VS dropping her from the lineup. Maybe that’s why she’s desperately putting herself out there this week. You really don’t see other VS models doing this PR stuff. The other VS models did a Superbowl party last night. We’ll know tonight if she’s in the commercial. She won’t be able to use that to get herself on these sites. She’ll just be another model whose shelf life is about to expire.

Oh, and I forgot to mention: when she first moved to NYC in 2004 she became engaged to a high-profile and respected fashion photographer (a google search will probably reveal who he is as she made sure it was listed on her Wikipedia page for several months - YES, SHE AND HER PEOPLE EDIT HER OWN WIKIPEDIA PAGE) but she forgot to mention to the photographer that she was still with her longterm Australian boyfriend (who eventually faced criminal charges on fraud) and THEN she ended up dating to a new boy she met without telling either of them. That’s the kind of lovely woman she is. Oh, and she’s was born in 1983, not 1985.
So, doing runway for Rock and Republuc is PR?? Silly me, I thought that is was her job. DOH!

I know Orlando isn’t completely innocent since he did mess around with her since April and heaped this drama in his own lap, but I do wonder how much she lied to him about the situation with Brent.
It sounds like she was just doing anyone famous she could to land a high profile boyfriend. Orlando never looked all that interested. It seems like they would hook up when she was in town but he never went out of his way for her or acted like she was his girlfriend.

Well, Russell Simmons was there last night. Maybe she was trying to reconnect. I do think it’s interesting that she’s playing the “celebrity” model thing as mentioned by Jared. She probably wants to be the next Paris Hilton (get invited to host parties, SWAG, etc.). She does seem to be the party girl according to what I’ve read, but she lacks the Hilton name. People like to see Paris because they like to see privileged people. Plus the fact the Paris is an expert self-promoter. Miranda seems too fake, and her PR people release info to the press to let everyone know what she’s doing well in advance. Her poses are like the girls on America’s Next Top Model in early episodes.
As for walking the catwalk, usually the more a model becomes known the less they walk the catwalk unless it’s for particular designer friends or charity. Jessica Stam is known in modeling circles but she is still a mainly runway model.
As for her statement about Heath, that quote sounds pretty insincere. Like it’s meant to draw attention to herself instead of Heath’s family and friends.
I never thought I would say this about comparing Paris to anyone but in this case I like Paris better. At least with Paris you know what you get and she makes it work for her. Love it or leave it. With Miranda she is cunning and sly and is the opposite of what she tries to convey to the public.

I believe what the poster above said about Miranda and her PR editing her wikapedia site. I just checked Steven Dorff’s and it says he was ‘on the hunt’ for Miranda Kerr according to page 6. I’m sure his people didn’t write that so I wouldn’t put it past her to edit the pages of others either. Remember she did this to Orlando as well. Her pr kept feeing the press quotes about how crazy he was about her so she is probably doing the same thing to Stephen knowing since they had a brief thing (read:-He eff’ed her) he won’t make a big deal out of it.

That was still a very tacky thing to say-especially if she hardly knows him. Saying it wasn’t her place to comment would have been better. Actually Jared has posted more on Miranda in the last week than any of the other three that you mention. This site doesn’t do the nightly round up of Lindsay, Paris and Britney antics like some other sites. That’s why I like it. This girl Miranda wants to be like them and that’s probably why she gets the harsh comments. People just don’t like her. It didn’t happen the way they portray it. DT is chequebook “journalism” and should not be taken seriously, and this conveniently timed “story” (which YET AGAIN portrays Kerr in a positive light) is proof of that.
Only a fool would believe that article.
P.S: Miranda is NOT a supermodel. That word gets thrown around far too much. Gemma Ward and Catherine McNeil are the only two Australians who can be deemed “supermodels”. Kerr is just a mainstream, commercial lingere and bikini model who sometimes models streetwear.
She tried to be high-fashion, but failed because she is too common looking. She lies about her height too. She’s only 5′7.5″, not 5′9″. It’s well known in the industry, and next time you see a photo of her desperately following some actor around, note the high platform shoes or heels.

Why do all of the Australian papers/website always mention that she’s a “devout Buddhist”? They always use the same term. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a phrase so overused in connection with anyone’s name, even the Dalai Lama. Do they think readers will believe it the more they mention it?

I have to wonder about what is wrong with parents these days. She won a modeling contest when she was about 14, and Mom and Dad cashed in on all the goodies. They let her strut her stuff, and reinforced the viewpoint in their daughter that how you look, and what your body is like is what makes you important. Just like Brittany’s parent’s did to her. No wonder she is so desperate for fame, and adultation, it is what makes her whole, it is what makes her valid. Add on the idea of a famous boyfriend and she has reached the pinacle of sucess as defined my her parents and her. Parents who use their children like this should be shot. Hate to burst your bubble, but a friend of mine was a waiter at the UNICEF party, and he saw them together. He saw Orlando, and Miranda visiting other tables together, and then they sat together for dinner. He recognized Orlando, and said that he was with a “tall, leggy, brunette”. When I described Miranda, and what she was wearing, he said that he was positive it was her. He said that he noticed her legs right away. :)
According to my friend, the photographers were only allowed in certain areas, that’s why so many of the people that were there, weren’t photographed during the party itself.

He has been spotted hanging out with his male friends only.
Last night-very likely his last before London-he was again out with a male friend being seen hanging out at the women’s dressing room of the theatre. She couldn’t have been working because she was only in two shows this whole week. Of all the blogs, write-ups and pictures NONE of them say anything about him being with her or any woman and he has been seen about 4-5 places in these last few days.
Before Christmas there were tons of sightings and reports. Then she went home and told the papers he was coming and pretty much told them where to set up their long lenses for some good shots….ha, in fact I bet she left them a bread crumb trail and set up a picnic basket for them..but loverboy never showed. Escort services are for those movie stars and celebrities who actually want their privacy. Why assume that Orlando or Miranda actually want that??? Maybe they do, but I rather doubt it. Orlando wouldn’t get the press, media coverage and pap shots with an escort service, as those gals would have to sign non disclosure agreements. I am so sick of people saying how ugly round faces are.
