Would it be okay if he worked on it with us?’ So now, you know, there are kids from Africa, kids from Cambodia and then there’s this Jewish kid from Minnesota.”

she was staunchly bush, i was pro gore, mainly because i thought at the time that it was pretty clear who had the better head on their shoulder. the girl made me so mad i actually almost cried. months later bush won… probably one of the reasons why i hate anything politics now. ok maybe hate is too harsh, more indifferent really. and yeah, i find it sad that i could be so jaded by world politics at such a young age sometimes… there’s always hope though, great thing about being fundamentally human is you can always rationalize. ;)

too many of you that call yourself truefans of brad and angie and their beautiful family write the most nasty, mean-spirited posts to folks that make the most insignificant remarks about them. It is such a turnoff.

Jolie-Pitt Help Children in Darfur

10/05/2007 - UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie and actor Brad Pitt have donated one million dollars towards the humanitarian effort assisting more than four million people affected by the crisis in Darfur.

The donation from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation will go to three agencies playing key roles in Darfur and neighboring Chad: the UN Refugee Agency; the International Rescue Committee and the international NGO, SOS Children’s Villages.

All three agencies are active in providing life-saving humanitarian assistance to the more than two million people displaced within Darfur and the 240,000 refugees from Darfur living in camps in eastern Chad.

“This generous donation comes just months after Angelina Jolie made a personal visit to a refugee camp in Chad and it shows, once again, her and Brad Pitts’ commitment to helping refugees and the displaced,” said Michel Gabaudan, UNHCR’s Regional Representative for the United States and the Caribbean. “As Goodwill Ambassador, Ms Jolie’s continued support of UNHCR and those we seek to help is a powerful force in ensuring they are not forgotten.”

In New York, George Rupp, president of the International Rescue Committee, said, “This donation will make a real difference in the lives of thousands of vulnerable people. We are grateful to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt for remembering them.”

Mb>Jolie has visited the region three times. During her recent visit to the Oure-Cassoni camp she said she was struck by the sense of hope she encountered and by the widespread desire for peace-keepers to be deployed in eastern Chad.

It was in Oure-Cassoni, where Jolie met staff working for SOS Children’s Villages, who are providing psychological assistance to traumatized children.

“The children benefit enormously from the therapy,” said Yolanda van den Broek, project leader of the Emergency Relief Program of SOS Children’s Villages in Chad. “Children who at first did not speak, did not eat and who were isolated in their own worlds, are now playing happily and are able to interact with others.“

This is one of the stupidest posts of all time. NO ONE knows how long their relationship w/ or w/o marriage will last. Right now these 2 are together for good who knows what will happen down the road but nothing in their acions and life so far indicate they are anything but together and on the same page as far as life goals. They will always be connected by their children even if they break up.

All we do know is that Angie is trying to make a difference. too bad so many of these ignorant haters are too busy hating to do the same.

If you are indeed a ‘truefan’ of Brad and Angie, then you would know that Brad and Angie’s good name and reputation, their children and their family in general, continue to be dragged through the mud and the coal and the dust and sh*t, primarily by nasty b*tches whose raison d’etre, is to extol the “virtues” of the x at the expense of Angie.

While we all know that the net is full of nuttty psychos who dont need any stimuli to be nasty to people in the public eye, there are others who are only out there spreading lies and slander about Angie BECAUSE they are upset that Brad ditched the albatross he had around his neck called a ‘wife’ and immediately fell in love with Angie and began realizing his long-cherished dream of having a family.

Now, IF the lazy, worthless, passive-aggressive b*tch of an exwife had any class, she would not have given to all the other lazy, good-for-nothing females out there who are coasting through life on a man’s coattails - like she was, the SIGNAL that it was okay to try to tear down Angie and Brad and their children IN HER NAME and ON HER BEHALF.

Just as how her handler, huvane, revealed that he scours the net for anything negative about her and try to have them removed (see infamous letter to Perez; see infamous removal of ugly photo of x from tmz; see removal of footage of infamous golden globe embarrassment) we BAMPZS fans are VERY SURE that both huvane and the x are HIGHLY AWARE of all the nasty slanderous posts about Brad and Angie and their children, done in the name and on behalf of x.

If this was of concern to them that such nastiness not be done on her behalf, he or she would have long ago issued statements dissociating themselves from anyone who thinks that they are supporting her when they try to destroy the reputation and good name of Brad and Angie.

But since they did not dissociate themselves from the nastiness when it first got started, and since they did not do it when it persisted and since too much time has passed for them to be able to do it to ’save face’ (because we all now know who is the real LOSER here); then be prepared to live with the jen-bashing by BAMPZS fans, so long as the smearing of Angie, Brad and their children and the rest of their family persist.

Because guess what, when all this first began back in 2005, the fans of B&A stood up and fought the good fight on sites like JJ and others, by stating the truth, posting links to articles, interviews photos and everything that would show the truth about B&A and the fact that they had harmed no one, but were merely living their lives without asking anyone’s permission to do what they wanted to do.

Like MILLIONS of others before them, Brad and the x came to their painful decision that their marriage was not working for either of them and they agreed to go their separate ways.

Unfortunately for Brad, he forgot to ask permission of the x, when it would be appropriate for him to fall in love again. And he and Angie have been paying for it ever since.

However, through the passage of Mother Time and the Power of Love, all has been revealed: Brad and Angie are the real macoys. the ‘other’ is the real LOSER……in life, in love, in career, etc., etc., etc.

So here we are. And since the bashing of Brad and Angie still continues and since all those who have eyes to see, now know that Brad and Angie are the ones living an authentic, fulfilling life, these days when BAMPZS fans bash the x, we do so just for the heck of it - you ever see a cat play with a mouse? Pure delight for the cat.

I have noticed that every time Angie goes out of the country by her self Brad hangs out with Zee. He must miss her alot and reminds himself of the first child they adopted together. I dont know, I just have that feeling. There are pictures of Brad and Zee from last night at X17, the comments there are crap dont even bother reading.

Z is said to be a mum and dad daughter who is constantly near them wanting to be close to them all the time while the other children are playing or show some independance (Shi, for example). She is also the one who doesn’t like when they go out and goes into dramatic antics asking them to stay cause she is stressed more than the others when they are not around.

I guess, Angie not being around makes children react according to their personality and Z may be the one who is more stressed and needs more affection and protection from the other parent to whom she will even more be close constantly to overcompensate the lack of motherly presence.

I mean, that’s how it usually goes.

People act as if children were all standard in their way of acting, reacting but at this age, their personality and the way they interact with their parents, siblings makes them less or more prone to stress and they usually needs additional attention and protection from the other parent in the later case .

From an interview with Scott Burnes

“The smallest and most meaningful unit in any society is family”. This line stays with me weeks after seeing Scott Burns’s darkly beautiful and surprisingly funny film, “PU-239″, which first aired on HBO in November. Based on a short story by Ken Kalfus, it follows a devoted father in post-Soviet Russia who gets exposed to a lethal dose of radiation. In order to provide for his family, he steals some plutonium and joins forces with an inept gangster (played by the incredibly talented Oscar Isaac). Together they form an awkward friendship, forged by a willingness to sacrifice everything for family.

The primacy of family is a theme that runs through all of Burns’s films. In “An Inconvenient Truth” (which he helped produce and accepted an Oscar for, alongside director Davis Guggenheim), Al Gore mentions that his life–and some of his policy priorities–completely changed when his six year-old son was nearly killed darting in front of a car. Gore describes “the possibility of losing something that was precious to me…What we take for granted might not be here for our children. It turned my whole world upside down.”

Burns’s phone buzzes as the food reaches the table. He learns that “The Bourne Ultimatum”–the final film of the Bourne trilogy, which he penned–has been nominated for a BAFTA award. “That’s funny,” he says, shaking his head, as if that’s the craziest news he’s heard all week. And then we dig into our eggs.

“I think of Bourne as being a superhero with a very basic and very human, question”, Burns explains. “Bourne doesn’t know how he got to be himself. He doesn’t know where he comes from and so Bourne’s movement in the world is both backwards and forwards at the same time; he has to move forward through this story but he also has to move back into himself.” Scott pauses and laughs. “The studio probably doesn’t like me talking about it that way.”

Intellectualising his characters–mining the depths of their psyches–is what makes Burns such a talented writer. He offers no pat answers, no easy ways out. Even the most deplorable characters in his films are complex enough to be sympathetic. The world is a bit fucked, Burns reminds us, and sometimes survival means allying with our demons before destroying them.

The gritty pragmatism of making nice with one’s enemies is part of what interests (and troubles) Burns about his latest project: a drama series for HBO about humanitarian workers in an international aid organisation, modelled on Doctors Without Borders (MSF)–a “neutral” non-profit that he has become involved with recently. “Neutrality is a very complicated issue”, Burns says. “If you’re a warlord in Afghanistan and you control certain areas of the country, you can say, alright Doctors Without Borders, I’ll let you in but I’m taking credit for it.” So by setting up a clinic that helps people with TB you are, in effect, endorsing the warlord’s authority.

These frustrations will surely make their way into a script Burns is writing in collaboration with Angelina Jolie. The two of them were introduced to each other last year by their mutual friend Matt Damon (aka, Jason Bourne). “I didn’t really think it was going to happen, but a couple of weeks later I got a call from her manager asking if I’d come in to meet with Angie and we had a really great conversation.” Jolie’s humanitarian work as a Goodwill Ambassador to the UN is widely known. But in today’s celebrity-cause-bandwagon-brouhaha, it is hard to know who is doing the work and who is merely getting free schwag for attending benefit parties. Burns confirms that Jolie is the real deal.

“Angie is an incredibly great collaborator for me because she can get anybody on the phone and she really has the insight into this world. She works for the UNHCR and she goes to refugee camps and she meets people. This is what she’s doing with her life and I find that really inspiring.” Burns and Jolie spent a month this past winter attending meetings at the UN together. “One day Angie called me up and said, ‘You know, Brad’s really interested in this too. Would it be okay if he worked on it with us?’ :) So now, you know, there are kids from Africa, kids from Cambodia and then there’s this Jewish kid from Minnesota.”

I’ve seen a thing or two in the past several years of peeping the Film Festival, but Saturday night was a whole different animal. I got to the Arlington to check in pretty close to when I was supposed to, which is to say, nearly two hours before the thing even started, and already a crowd had gathered, hugging the velvet ropes that cordoned off a huge chunk of State Street for the arrival of the Hollywood royalty known as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Loitering just outside with my pals, deliberating on where to grab a bite, we ran into Roger, and I took the opportunity to ask if I was going to score the hot-man trifecta: I’d already met McSteamy and McDreamy (that’d be Javier Bardem and James McAvoy, respectively), and spot number three could only go to someone… well, Brad was certainly a candidate. But Roger’s reply threw me: “Oh, you mean the presenter?” I was baffled, I mean, I’m sure Pete Hammond’s a lovely guy and everything, but, really?

Figuring that riddle would be solved in due time, we made our way to dinner and away from the madding crowd. Post-tapas, turning back onto State Street, we were greeted by light rain, a roaring crowd, and enough flash bulbs to light up the night sky. We fought our way through the scrum, and into the theatre, where the red-carpet circus scene was being broadcast live. I’d like to take this opportunity to marvel at the oddity of celebrity, and what a serious pain in the ass it must be to go anywhere wearing so famous a face. That said, though, Brangelina were gracious as could be, signing autographs and smiling for pics with their fans. Though the thought of it made me really want a nap.

Eventually, the show got under way and Angelina, wearing the perfect Is-She-or-Isn’t-She ensemble, suffered through it with the best of them: I came away liking her a lot more than I anticipated — and she was even prettier in person, too. But the biggest, and best, surprise of the night came when it was time for the award presentation — the Outstanding Performance of the Year award, honoring Jolie for her work in A Mighty Heart. “Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Clint Eastwood!” Hello! The Durls speaketh the truth.

Interesting….take a look at the photo Frenchy posted in #75. If you did not know she was pregnant you could never tell from this angle. Of course we know she was and every other picture taken that day made it very clear. It shows how the angle makes all the difference until about six months.

I’m aware of that. I’m also aware that every single tabloid announced last week that she is pregnant. Unless they have verification, they need to shut the hell up. They are not doing either Brad or Angie any favors by jumping the gun. If Angelina is pregnant she and Brad will make the announcement in their own good time.

It’s interesting, though, that Brad’s rep is playing coy on the subject — instead of saying “no way” he’s saying “no comment”. It does make you wonder what’s up with that.

She’s on a fact-finding mission to Jordan for the UN refugee commission. She does that several times a year to different countries, and she always goes alone and on her own dime. The Iraqi refugee crisis in Jordan is growing worse every week.

Mother Earth - Wise words from a lurker from way way back. This site has changed over the years, but that is life. At the inception, there was the valor of B & A at stake. Now they are accepted as part of socieity and gracing the cover of the ever so reputable “People” magazine. People can see that they have found love, and the sensationalism, is for the most part over. Nothing stays the same, and the more intelligent posters seem to have found other places to go. I lurk alot at jjb’s mostly for the great photos and come here for news.

The infighting among the “fans” has brought this site down, but more hits for Jared. As long as I can get Pitt news, I just ignore the posts that are nothing but “good job bithc slapping that troll”….. life’s too short to spend it reading through the shizt that is posted here lately.

It was one of my very first posts that I had ever written to JJ- maybe a few months ago. That is why I remember it so well. I had been reading these threads for a while before I got involved in writing a response. I used to google the name brad and angelina just to keep up with their humanitarian efforts. I became intereted in JJ because more information was tracked here, plus the pictures of the family— well, they are so beautiful to look at I couldn’t help myself. Next, I started reading the comments that was posted after each set of pictures…

I was shocked at the overwhelming level of trash written about these two people. Regardless of age or socioeconomic background, I just could not believe that there were so many people willing to admit to and WRITE ABOUT their wicked thoughts in print. I mean…actually flaunt their negative opinions for anyone to read, and there seemed to be no shame nor regret!

The more I read, the more I became incensed. Brad and Angelina are just two examples of people who give their TIME and MONEY when they do not have to and are making an impact on people’s lives. They ARE MOTIVATED to help those that NEED THE HELP THE MOST. Third World countries like Africa, Asia and India have some of the most deplorable living conditions where the MAJORITY OF ITS PEOPLE ARE LIVING IN POVERTY VERY MUCH UNLIKE THE ‘POVERTY’ THAT AMERICANS UNDERSTAND OR DEFINE POVERTY IN THE U.S.

Poverty in Third World countries is better defined as severe degrees of human suffrage. To illustrate, think of the overcrowded football stadium in New Orleans after the levees broke because of the hurricane. Did we already forget? Thousands of people, overcrowding, lost family members, homes destroyed, dead people, violence, infected water, poor quality air, lack of food and water, contaminated food and water, lack of government ( yes, I said it), rapid spreading sickness, sick people, not enough or inadequate medical care, chaos, crime, constant fear, living minute to minute, deplorable hygiene conditions— get the picture? Is it any wonder that Brad and Angelina have ’selected’ NOLA as their home? Think about what they stand for? It makes perfect sense. They will help their ‘neighbors,’ whether it is here in the U.S. or on any continent/country they feel they are in a position to help. They do not have a superiority complex or a sense of entitlement as most Americans have. By the way, that is how we are viewed by most foreigners because of this—nonsense.

If much more of us would behave as global citizens and less as privileged, entitled Americans we would see Brad and Angelina’s humanitarian work, as well as others who have already been in the fight, as ‘normal’ behavior. We are not there yet as a people. And so, everytime Brad and Angelina complete an effort, or adopt a child, we treat their deed as suspect, ridicule them to no end, defame their character, and make strategic effort to destroy their reputation. All because they are trying to make a difference…for someone else’s benefit. And you wonder why foreigners despise us…

Oprah Winfrey as we all believe is a very influential figure in the world of today. So many young girls and women look up to her. I for one admire her struggle and achievements but I’ve a got an issue her.

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly upset Angelina Jolie is pregnant.

The former ‘Friends’ star, who divorced Brad Pitt in October 2005 following five years of marriage, is said to have taken the news of Jolie’s alleged pregnancy extremely badly.

A source close to the actress said, “Jennifer is putting on a brave face, but inside she is really upset. She wasn’t prepared for how she’d feel when she saw the pictures of Angelina and her bump.

“It took her by surprise because it was further proof of just how much Brad has moved on with his life compared to her.”

Aniston, 38, also resents Jolie because she never had a child with Brad.

The source told Britain’s Star magazine, “Jennifer is desperate for kids. She can feel her biological clock ticking and is scared that she has left it too late. She keeps saying that she wishes she’d had kids with Brad and that, if she had, maybe things would have worked out differently.

“Splitting up with Brad was the hardest thing Jennifer ever went through, so hopefully she’ll get over this latest hurdle. She’s made of strong stuff.”

Here are my comments:

I am a big fan of Brad and Angelina and if the above news is true, I am glad that Jennifer is hurting now and were affected by the news of Angie’s new pregnancy. I never really like this Aniston, and I disliked her more after her VF interview wherein she insinuated that it was Angie’s fault that her marriage to Brad was destrroyed and the unpleasnt comments she said regarding Angelina’s children.

Jennifer is now getting her karma if she is really hurting now. I am also very happy for Angie about the new pregnancy (if it is true), And thrilled and thankful, too, that Angelina is now very happy with Brad and their children plus the devotion and love that Brad is giving to her and the kids.

Everyday I read all the thread and comments about Brad and Angelina and were happy about the good comments and feel sad about what the trolls say about them. Anywawy, glad to be one of the Filipino fans of them .
