Grammy’s Get ‘Green With Music’ Luxury Retreat
All-Green Ultimate Luxury Retreat/ Rejuvination Lounge. Yum.

To find the antithesis of the high-stress, high-energy event that is the 50th Annual Grammy Awards, one need only look upon the relaxing scene that is the “Green With Music” luxury lounge. As with most of the events we gush about, this one is chock full of earth-friendly vibes — from the organic raw food bar, tea bar, and “Green” carpet arrivals to the eco-friendly products and services. The venue itself is also sustainable — with organizers choosing to hold the lounge in LA’s only all-green development, The South Collection. Here’s a bit from the release,

“Green with Music,” is the All-Green Luxury Gifting Retreat for Music’s stars. Celebrated A-Listers will tour our Green Retreat, enjoying world-class Ayurvedic Spa services, a Meditation/ Relaxation Lounge, organic food bar, soothing music, divine green design and the artwork of celebrated Grammy artist Robert Sturman. A portion of the proceeds from Green with Music will benefit MusiCares, the Recording Academy’s charity for musicians in need. We are also benefiting Make it Right 9, Brad Pitt’s charity dedicated to creating affordable green housing in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans.

We love showcasing green lounges like this one because we feel it provides a perfect opportunity for sustainable companies to get their products into the hands of those that might provide a boost in terms of marketing. It also shows earth-friendly can mean luxury — something that hasn’t necessarily come across in past years.

Actors join ‘Pippa Lee’ cast
Gyllenhaal, Reeves sign on to adaptation

Alan Arkin, Monica Bellucci, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Keanu Reeves have joined the already starry cast of Rebecca Miller’s “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.”

Pic, which is produced by Elevation Filmworks and Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment, already features Julianne Moore and Winona Ryder. Robin Wright Penn stars as a dutiful wife whose husband falls for a younger woman, freeing her to explore her buried sensuality and leading to “a very quiet nervous breakdown.”

Miller (”The Ballad of Jack and Rose”) directs from her own novel of the same title. Lensing is skedded to begin in April 2008 in Connecticut.

Samantha Horley’s London-based Lumina Films is executive producing the pic and handling worldwide sales, with CAA partnering on the sale of North American distribution rights. Jean-Luc De Fanti and Winchester Capital Partners provide finance and take exec producing credits.

Pic is the fourth collaboration between Lemore Syvan of Elevation and Miller, following “Jack and Rose,” “Personal Velocity” and “Angela.”

I see your point but there has always been a negative reaction from esp. the old timers on this board when it came to bullsh+t tab stories regarding the children — especially when the tabs put the jolie-pitt kids on the cover…

JJ is much “cleaner” than other blogs, picking stories with much more
consideration comparing to others…

I don’t like the “throwing under the bus” mentality either, a simple post with a statement would be more than enough; but this is a pro-brangelina blog, so the passionate posts shouldn’t surprise anybody.

I was away from the PC,(sometimes I get lost on the internet also and by the time I get back to jj from cyber space hours seem to have passed.) time flies Glad to hear good news about Flamingo, just in time for Spring and she will be able to get out.
